New Year Celebration goodies are waiting for you in-game

If you still haven’t started getting revved up for the New Year, we’re about to give you a bunch of reasons to do so.

 

Let’s cut to the chase.

 

You’re about to get hammered by two and a half weeks of celebrations in Tanki Online, starting December 25th.

 

Starting on December 25th at 02:00 UTC, all through to January 11th at 02:00 UTC:

• A unique New Year map featuring an all-new, exclusive battle mode called “Assault”, where one team defends a base with a control point, while the other team attacks the base in an attempt to deliver their flag to the control point within
• Gold boxes worth 2016 crystals on all maps, plus themed gold box notification sound and drop zones created especially for the occasion
• A set of unique daily missions with increased difficulty but bigger rewards:
  • Earn experience points on the New Year map
  • Destroy enemies while wearing the Holiday paint
  • Earn experience points in the Assault battle mode
  • Catch New Year gold boxes
• The ability to send other tankers New Year gifts. There will be 4 gifts available, costing 250, 1000, 5000 and 10 000 crystals respectively. Once you purchase a gift, you will be able to send it by specifying the recipient's nickname, and adding your own custom message to the gift
• Themed looks for the TO homepage, garage, flags, parachutes and billboards, plus unique designs for 2 paints: Holiday and Premium

On top of that, we’re introducing a new XT combination — Vulcan and Mammoth! Premium tankers will be able to purchase these unique items starting from 02:00 UTC on December 25th, while Generalissimos will be able to acquire them by completing unique daily missions. More importantly, these new XT items will be here to stay! You will be able to acquire them even after the celebrations have ended.

 

But there’s more! THE GAME, our traditional New Year quest, returns on January 3rd with a series of riddles to solve, keywords to discover, and supplies to be won. The most clever (and fastest) tanker will get 1000 of each supply, a Tanki T-Shirt, and a dream tank available at his rank. Of course, everyone else who completes the challenge will also receive supply prizes.

 

And, while all of the above is cool, we just had to top it off with a full menu of discounts!

Ikr I was so looking forward to 50% sale. I planned it and was gonna buy m2 hornet but no. Tanki had took ruin it by doing that random sale format. Who the heck cares if we can't even buy what we want. This game used to be great but its doing less and less. People are leaving in 100s at least everyday.

I was gonna buy m2 hornet and I even ranked up for it but then disaster struck.30% ONLY. what kind of a sale is that. Everything was better last year. Double fund, 50% off EVERYTHING. People are leaving by the 1000s. And if you are thinking 'who cares' then tough cuz everyone does. U better do something.

i believe tanki staff is gone for the holidays this is why we have not gotten a response from them..

sell the useless items for lower prices so more will buy and keep the most used items higher so you will pay more for them

 

but in theory its going back fire due to most players don't have money to buy high end items or all ready have them so more will buy less and waste crystals on items that will not be important to us..

 

so why buy save for the next time the items you want go on sale and get it then..

Man what would you only getting hornet m2? You might know that Tanki Online will die soon bcz of upcoming Tanki x, so its useless if you have plans on later doing that m3 after a few months :P Everyone will start to play tanki x as it will be the updated one. If you want to make full benefit of a 50% sale nowadays you have to buy all the m3s together and finish this game.

But a very 'clever'idea tanki of making ppl buy crystals but it wont work as ppl will use impopulqr weopons,but they wont spend a lot of money buying popular weopons.

Although these sales set my targets 53k above what I actually need, still a good sale. My target was 416k (50%). I have 458k and I need to reach 468k.

 

Getting rico, twins, titan, savanna this sale! :) thank you tanki :) (rico 45% twins 40% titan 45% and savanna 45%) i am happy enough :)

 

And one more thing I liked is how the %s were placed. If many of you didnt get the idea behind it, here is my thought at it:

 

The least popular stuff got the highest discounts.
