In Game Sound Cut Out

 Share

Recommended Posts

My audio cut out and I cant get it back! I've reset my computer, refreshed the page, messed around with my computer and tanki sound settings, nothing works! I can watch Youtube videos just fine so I'm sure its a bug in the game.

Maybe it will turn back on if you stop talking about it and play. lol jk, I have no idea why that would happen. Sometimes if your headphone jack is faulty, it will only play sound if it is turned the right way in the port. Never heard of anyone losing sound in-game only before

Audio problem is at speakers or headphones? Or both?

It's not a problem with the computer. The speakers, audio jack and earphones are fine. I can go to Youtube for example and listen to a video. The audio cut out in Island CTF approximately 10 PM EST as soon as I enabled full screen mode.

This is the next day, and the audio still isn't fixed.

No clue, sorry. I am always listening to music while playing Tanki, so I have my sound turned off. I will try playing soon with the sound on and see what happens.

You guys don't need to post if you don't know the solution to the problem. This is regarded as spam, and is against Problem and Solutions section rules

Can you specify which browser and Windows/OS you are using?

*****

1. Do you have a red light coming out of your headphone jack? That indicates that it's outputting digital sound due to a stuck contact. Try inserting a headphone plug a few times and wiggling it around to unstick it.

2. Try opening and closing GarageBand to reset your audio settings.

Apple has some suggestions..

Sometimes the sound won't work in Yosemite even though you've made the right output sound settings.

If that's the case, try resetting the PRAM by starting (or restarting) your mac WHILE pressing alt+cmd+p+r simultaneously. Keep holding the keys until you hear a second start up sound, then release the keys and let your mac finish its start up. When you now choose the right output device the sound should work.

I've noted that it's no longer possible to just plug-and-play some headphones that used to work just fine - sometimes you have to plug them in and then choose the headphones option in your output sound options.

I believe I said I would try it out to see if it was bugged for me. I don't need to be told what to do, thanks.

Clearly you did not read my whole post. Maybe you should start reading everything that people say before you criticize them of something
