List of "Drug Clan" YouTube Channels

Recommended Posts

Most of you probably watch a fair amount of Tanki videos on YouTube, like gold montages, parkour clips, gameplay videos, rants, ESports matches, etc. But as I've recently figured out, there's an entire world of YouTube videos produced by "drug clans" that are fascinating to watch, yet will never show up on your suggested videos tab. The gameplay in these videos is highly tactical and fast-paced, and the tension between the clans is tangible as you watch the videos. The editing is also mindblowing and often beautiful, as if the video is telling a story. And the music is flat-out killer.

So in an effort to give these types of videos a wider audience, and to help expose the EN community to high level gameplay, I've compiled a list of the best drug clan YouTube channels:

KOA (YT channel link) is an Arabic-speaking drug clan that has been together for over 4 years, and they're incredibly fun to watch play. They have a whopping 73 beautifully edited YouTube videos. This one is my personal favorite. Oh, and one of the requirements for joining their clan is a full M4 garage.

DOT (YT channel link) is a younger Arabic-speaking drug clan that has been together for a year and a half, but their editor i.ThinK.You.NooB has already compiled 47 gameplay videos. This 10v10 Silence video vs KOA is a staple of drug videos.

SF (YT channel link) is another top drug clan that speaks Arabic and English. They have a lot of longer gameplay videos, like this 8v8 against VIP.

AOA (YT channel link) is an Arabic-speaking clan that has now closed, but you'll often find its former members playing with and against top drug clans.

VIP (YT channel link) is a Russian-speaking clan that is famous for winning the Hardstyle tournament and receiving Acid paint. They only have a few videos on their channel, but they're definitely worth watching. And if you haven't yet seen it, the video of the final Hardstyle battle is a great watch.

The less famous clan Wolves also has a few videos, and the EN community clan Regrets doesn't regularly make videos but they recently uploaded a good one.

Let me know what you think of the videos, or if there are any good ones I've missed!

good topic :D  AOA you might as well make the same as KOA, they're now the same clan.

There is an old VIP channel, I'll look for it in a bit.

Thanks mate, I didn't know that AOA merged into KOA. I think I'll still keep the link to AOA's channel separate though. And I did include the old VIP channel.

Drug, Mults, Win

Just add eat and sleep and you've encompased the life of a top drug clan player! All seriousness aside though, drug clan culture is extremely complex and fascinating.

spaming 1234?

  • You forgot 5
  • You're not spamming them
  • Your enemies are drugging just as much as you are... so the outcome of a game isn't based on which team uses supplies but rather which team uses them more effectively. That's what's complex.

There's a VIP link before the link you put, it's from middle of 2014, I'll look for it in a bit.

Take a look at the channel for zoom4ks, although he hasnt uploaded for a while he's one of my favourites as almost all his videos are 2 rounds on silence and he actually posts his losses.

Well, most "drug clans" actually prefer non-cooldown PRO battles, where all supplies can be activated at once. So yeah, it's spamming.

More importantly, most drug wars are played against random teams of players, where usually at least 2 or 3 opponents are not constantly drugging (in a 10-10 player battle). With that kind of difference the drug clan always wins due to simple equipment superiority and a little bit of help from voice communication. The only skill I can think of is knowing the paint protections off by heart and being able to quickly choose the most effective paint to change into.

Now if these clans actually play organised drug wars against one another, where all players have M4 equipment and are prepared to use supplies non-stop, then I'll take back what I wrote above.

Drug clans don't make videos against randoms, they make videos against other clans.

Perhaps you should try opening one of the links in Marc's topic.

And plenty of private games are played with drugs all the time, 8v8 noise and 10v10 silence private are very common without cooldown.

Only attackers could activate all 3 drugs at the same time, if you are defending and you do so, you'll be destroyed if you don't time them well.

Long story short, looks like you need to do some research before you make such sweeping judgements.

And they can't afford themselves to buy a computer that will handle 50-60 FPS.

Actually their recordings are beautifully rendered, usually with full graphics, good editing, and 60 fps, even in maps like 10v10 silence.

FPS often drops to 40-45. But i guess it more depends on unoptimized TO coding even with hi-end computers. The same thing with lags no matter how good your internet connection nor ping.
