Should bullies be excluded from school?

The best way to stop bullying is to ignore his threats and not be intimidated by him. However, that only works as long as he doesn't get physical. Then that's another problem.

From my experience, telling a teacher makes it worse. I don't let them push around if they hit me: fight back, just win one fight and they'll know you aren't the wimp they make you out to be.

Pencils won't do a thing, I prefer a swift kick to the groin or a knee to the chest.

It gets them on the ground with little effort or pain on my side, and it can't be seen as them actually doing a thing to me. Again making others think twice about crossing me.

No, the "cool" kids blast their music that involves being "swaggangsta" and extreme drug use into the room while I'm trying to actually get somewhere in life by graduating.

All of my friends are nerdy and so am I, so I guess I do fit in. I just don't find music where every third word is a profanity very good.

To be honest, listening to rap does not mean that you are a bully. Also, rap is music. Don't even bother starting that argument, I will win it, because it is classed as music.

 

I'm somewhat amused by the calls of "just kick 'em in the nuts" and "Throw them on their face!" Is this not just the same behaviour that bullies show, thus making you a bully? Also, clearly you ain't ever encountered a bully in NZ. I find that the 'bullies' (You don't really have them in our high school (or maybe I'm just somewhat immune because I'm quite 'large')) go around in gangs/family groups or friends, so the good old "Beat 'em up" approach doesn't really work. Their mates will just smash you.

 

Having said all this, there is one last thing to say. A lot of bullies are actually imitating the behaviour that they have been brought up with around them (i.e, their family lives ain't so good.) This means that just punishing them doesn't make them feel any better, basically because they get crap at home and more crap at school, and so they take the 'crap' out on someone who is smaller than they are. So while I think that bullying is unacceptable and should be punished, you gotta remember that there is almost always a reason for there bullying. They normally ain't just looking for your lunch money.

right there is the problem ..these boys are only out to get attention from others and the more they find a weak link in the school the more they pick on them..there parents give them everything but what they need and want and is attention and love..buying items is nice but really what purpose does it serve..none ...kids who get everything end up being greedy and unappreciated for there friends and family next to items..

ones who have less enjoy life and appreciate friends and family and value the hard work  of a dollar and friendship .

I never said listening to rap makes you a bully. I was just responding to another user's post, and telling him my opinion. My opinion is that rap is garbage. Oh, and sure, rap may be classified as music, I just don't believe it deserves that classification. I mean, MOST (not all) rap songs are a bunch of very bad lyrics rhymed and set to a very simple beat. How can that be the same thing as say, a concerta or a symphony? The same as a hymn or another song?

 

EDIT: It's not like Mozart cusses in his symphonies, eh? :D

i agree about rap some are really good and others should never be played ..but this can go for any type of music there is good and bad in all

 

now saying that music does not make the person the person is the one who makes himself in other words its the society and environment he grows up in helps make him/ her there path in life its fully your choice as to do bad or good  things ...you can  take the right highway in life and do good for u and the ones around u or take the bad one and have a rotten time in life..

 

we are not the people who put drugs in a persons hands or even booze its there choice to take it ..you have a mind use it and say NO..
