Right. It is betting and promoting the concept of betting with the in-game currency, just like people buy chips with real money to bet in some casinos.  I don't like this idea. Is Tanki going to turn into an online casino?

 

I hope Tanki to think about it. Don't make this type of "betting" in the future. There are lots of kids playing. Thank you.

I thought about this as well. Very easy to cheat this particular contest. Sister, spouse, cousin, friend... "Hey sit down over here for a sec and take a selfie..."

Oh... And the loyalty program for Daily Missions is good, but not great. I was hoping for a bit more in terms of goodies. Rewarding Gismos with 3k crystals and double digit supplies after 4 weeks of gameplay... I won't be super upset if I break a chain somewhere along the way. Don't get me wrong. I play daily to get mission reward, so I expect to reap these extra rewards. I'm happy about that, just not super excited.

You should seen some of the contestants in the very first Russian Mrs. Tanki contest. Some of them were DEFINITELY not family friendly! And the thing is, you certainly won't see this in the boys' contest; because they don't rely on their body to win! It makes me sad for my gender sometimes.

 

I'm thinking it would be a little less biased if some of the developers (or whoever chooses the winners) are women.

 

 

Also if you guys are having a hard time understanding what she is saying in the PRO's advice, I suggest turning on Closed Captioning. ;)

what i don't like is the typical  BARBIE GIRL stereo type of the picture....

 

.like all the contest they have had so far they promote the figure / sex sells ..and this stereo typing of us woman is wrong...in this day and age

Well, that's not exactly the same.

 

In the casino chips can be exchanged for money, and in TO crystals can not be exchanged for money.

 

That's why I said it reminds me at "betting" and not betting.

they have done that for the last few contests ..its a mans world and this will always be like this ...and if you look at barbie they have decided to change with the times and woman are now portrayed in average normal size imagines not skinny tooth picks..where men only look at them for one thing..but if they look at there mom or grandmother like that ...  owwweee  they have to wash there little dirty minds...

This is a kind of stereo-typing that TO does, that I don 't find much offensive.

It 's something like weddings were the guys wear smokings and girls wear wedding dresses...
