Latest update seems to have improved my client freezes. Played all day today, even on a WiFi a couple of rooms from the router and not a single game Freeze. I hope that’s not coincidence, by game freezes are/were my #1 peeve.

 

Still problematic but not overly troubling to me is the lobby. I’m still seeing battles with 18 player team counts on 12 team player maps. Also a lot of green friend indicators for battles with none of my friends in them.

It's more like we don't know how to solve the problem for you.

It's usually a matter of trying a few things and see if it works, but it's not as simple as do X for problem X and do Y for problem Y. Some players have a problem when doing X, while many other players can do X perfectly fine without running into any problem and so on. That makes it even harder to find out what's causing the problem.

40mbps download speed. 10 upload. 

Stable wifi.

Joining battles , getting kicked out , gone back to main screen displaying the different battle types (not battle list). 

Joining another battle , players start to join , ping increases. At start 100 ping. 60 fps. Low graphics. At a 6v6 'go' everything starts happening , ping jumps to 999(constantly), I can move my tank while others have rotating turrets and everyones frozen. After a long time of waiting , a black screen appears, *refreshes 10 times*.

Atlast refreshed, oh well i have good news.

 

Kicked out of battle , someone else joined. Battle is full.

Constant 0 damage , 999 ping jumps and stays there. (Tanki client,browsers~chrome,firefox,MX5,Standalone player)

This isnt a rare case. Happens for a while everyday on every single map i join !

Atleast even for 10 seconds! Suddenly everything starts working and then for 30seconds im not doing damage with 60 FPS And Green Ping.

When tank suddenly respawns, Its as if i have spectator mode on.

My tank wont display , everyone is dancing in circles, afetr 30 seconds on waiting my tank finally is on the feild with 999 ping again! Until then 2-3 captures have occured.

 

Histroy cleared, RAM cleared, Cache cleared. Changed my wifi routers couple of times.

Is tanki gonna pay me for my new routers? Huh?

What am i supposed to do.

Please dont comment something like restart your PC( don't have to tell me that)

Follow the instructions below:

 

1) Unload your channel as much as possible. If you have one, disable your torrent client (you may need to wait for a while after doing so).

2) Reboot your router

3) If you use a wireless connection, try physically connecting your PC directly to the router using an Ethernet cable

4) ADSL routers can be switched to bridge mode. Sequence of required action depends on the type of router and your Internet provider

 

5) If none of the above helps, try contacting your Internet service provider to see if they are aware of any problems.

Sometimes when I press play in a battle from the battle list after approximately 1minute of loading it brings me to the home page where I can choose to either play ctf,tdm,dm,cp,a random battle or go to the battle list then I need to press play again then I can get into the battle

Awesome internet speed when i load battle it take me to matchmaking system battles and my garage has too much bugs when i click on torret it get clicked after 10 min and in battle ping jump to 999 but my internet is too fast plz plz request you to improve plxx

It seems to me the period of lag at the start of each battle does not last as long as six months ago.  

 

OTOH in the last couple weeks I see long delays (sometimes) between the red damage numbers, and that tank blowing up on screen. 2 or maybe 3 seconds at times it seems.

 

Overall it does seem bettr and I have griped about that.  So positivie feedback when it is due.

Ok, so you want information of what's been going on?

 

This is the perfect topic to explain what's been going on with the server lags of late the past month or so?

 

Well then... here it goes!

 

Allow me to explain in full detail :)

 

(and I mean in FULL detail  ;))

 

Click on the spoiler below.. and be prepared for an extremely long, LONG post :D

 

Don't say I didn't warn you  ;)

 

 

 

We all are in the middle of a battle, a decent battle too, high fund and everything..

 

Then the next thing that happens is this:

 

It makes some weird noises (like a turret slightly turning kind of noise) then the next thing that happens that I (and I think that everyone else sees too) is that everyone is still in the battle, you can still move around and everything (like you would normally would do), but everyone else in that battle is not moving at all.. not moving their hulls at least. ( :huh:)  instead their turrets are just constantly turning and stuff.

 

Then moments after that occours, it simply just.. well.. goes off ._. and the only thing that I see then is just a black blank screen.. that's it, nothing else ._.

 

Now, the server that I find this problem happening on the most is server RU1 and sometimes server RU2 as well.. no other servers, just them two. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention EN2 sometimes has this "lag" problem as well.. but only rarely and sometimes.. but the lag problem and stuff happens mostly on RU1 + RU2.

 

It takes heaps load of refreshing to get back on the actual game, takes a good 5 minutes maxium (I think) to actually get back on the actual game and instead of putting us back into the battle that we got kicked out of to start with.. it instead loads us back into the lobby and says something like "the link of this battle is outdated" or something like that.

 

And whatever battle fund we made in that battle, (even if it's 10K+) we don't get nothing from it.. 0.. zilch :( all that time and effort into getting a decent fund like that was all for nothing.

 

This lag problem has been happening for weeks, hell.. maybe months now and it's so annoying and frustrating.

 

And I've experienced this problem many times.

 

Heck, I even experienced it 4 times yesterday alone in the space of 1 hour.. 1 hour! 3 games that I got kicked out of didn't really bother me because the fund wasn't really that high to be honest, or the game had barely started.

 

But one of the games that I unfairly got kicked out of yesterday was when I was in the middle of a very decent Courage XP/BP battle on RU1. I was on the winning team of a 16 flag limit game, the score was 8-8 and I was in 3rd place, the fund was 17K (or so) and I was only 100+ points behind the 2 people above me, so I was slowly reaching 1st place! and I'm sure we would have won, because at the start of the match, we were getting smashed 6-1.. but anyway.. that's not the point.

 

Then before I know it, the lag problem (that I explained above earlier) happened and in the end, none of us got a single crystal from the 17K+ fund ._. and I was so annoyed -____- very annoyed.

 

So yeah.. that's it. 

 

That's the "lag" problem that I've (and everyone else I think) have experienced this past month or so.

 

And the worst thing about it?

 

We haven't got a refund!

 

Not once! -.-

 

So Tanki, I plead with you.. like I've pleaded with no other game before.. if you could please.. please.. PLEASE sort out this issue ASAP, then.. well...

P.S, sometimes ping can just randomly shoot to sharpe 999 ping, (mostly when I'm in the process of slaughtering one of my enemies to pieces) then the battle just simply freezes, (turrets turning and all that rubbish) then seconds later everything returns to normal and the next thing that I know I find that I'm just respawning :mellow:

And for me, the last 18+ months, (since I wrote that comment anyway) server crashes never happen for me anymore. Just sometimes insane lag that's very annoying and frustrating  <_<

It’s becoming more and more laggy since the new maps are added. Like I have to re enter the game almost every time I first click the “play” button.

go to hit on a battle , instead it took me to the battle list / which was the main page to choose from with battle button ( normally i only use battle list and choose my own battles ). then go to hit the normal battle again the loading bar took so long to load ..
