Where do you live? You don't get more organized than the World Championships, not to mention the Under 23 World Champs I was at last year too. I think you mean mean mainstream, which I find a little offensive, just because something isn't massively popular doesn't mean its not a real sport. (Ultimate got Olympic recognition last year and it's popularity is increasing massively)

The ignorance of gnats cropping up again :P.... But please don't get offended, I had no idea how organized it was. Keep in mind that the average height here is probably five and a half feet :/. Not an ideal body type for a game of Ultimate, and predictably, no one plays it (I doubt anyone would even know what is was.) Still, my friends and I love it, especially when the older kids get together.

English plz....

Bitter sports fan. The Red Sox signed an all star who has yet to do anything productive, but his is so expensive, that we can not just bench him and replace him with a better player.

I prefer black socks. They never get dirty....

Also, why did they buy a star? The closest one is a few million light years away, so of course they can't play it. #baseballlogic

:P Joking, ok. No offense. I'm just not a huge fan of Baseball . Plz no kill me.

never seen an indian with such good grammer

Are you even alive?

Indians are known to speak impeccable English....so much so that most Britishers' Mother tongues may hit the dirt.

But never mind, I should stop with the garrulous conversation right here.

Evidently you have never heard of the concept called accents. Ever understood a Jersey Native? They have a horrible accent, but not to them. Bostonians (me included), drop our r's, making an ah sound instead, is that to considered mispronunciation? So your claim is based on your personal ideas of understanding. It is pointless to judge someone based on a language that is not naturally theirs, and then use it against the understanding of a language is not only incompetent, but showing a lack of real world understanding of societal differences.

There are more than 1 billion people here and I'm not sure how many of us you have met to claim that 'most' of us pronounce words wrongly. Moreover, it's all about accent, isn't it? Americans pronounce most words in a different manner than us. That doesn't mean that it's wrong.

Going by numbers, though, India stands 2nd in terms of number of English speakers, only behind USA. Guess what? English is not even our first language.

^Now, sir, this conversation is tilting towards racism. Stop it right there, or take it to PM; otherwise our dear Mr. ElHam here will need to take action.

I'm from New York. Or should I say "I'm a New Yawker"?

There has always been a bantering rivalry between us and Boston.

It's not a racial thing. It's a regional sports thing.

:)

-_- If it's a rivalry between you and Boston, where did India fit in?

Either way, stop it. Geographical rivalries not good for your health k :P

Hindi, the major language in Northern India, is an Indo-European language. Also, I don't think that Indians speak really good English because of the British colony. Therefore, I presume Hindi-speaking people have fewer problems with pronouncing English, another Indo-European language, than Chinese people have, who speak languages with totally other sound system.

As I read, schools in India teach English from first grade on. Also, I think when you learn a language through classes, as opposed to it being your mother tongue, you pay attention to grammar and vocabulary.

Can we stop the discussion about what the system for learning English in India is, and instead just admit I have immense talent?

Isn't that already common knowledge?

What is wrong with you. I have been to Boston a plethora of times, and I have never seen that. If someone DID do that, they would be pulled over for indecent exposure. That is pointless, and I will kindly ask you to remove that.

It is obvious that you misinterpreted his meme. He was commenting on the accent in Boston where 'Car Keys' sounds like 'Khakis'.

Well, the only yankee player I have respect for is Texiera. But Sandoval sucks, so yeah.

Not really, just a 4 hour drive. It is a tradition.
