How to become a Pro Tanker

If you are reading this, congrats. This Topic will teach you a lot in becoming a Pro at Tanki. Let's start!
 

1. Invite your friends to the game

- Now, a lot of people get frustrated when Tankers invite their Tanki friends to a battle but not the game. There are 2 buttons on the top where, it looks like a person or two. Click the one with the addition sign. Then the next step is pretty simple. Rank Ups, Crystals, Gold Boxes, anything that the friend you invited earned, you will get it. I got crystals because I did that 

 

2. Don't spend crystals on things you don't need

- No Micro-Upgrades (MU)

- No supplies unless for Gold Box

- Don't buy too many Tanks(Turrets and Hulls) (Focus on 2 main Tanks)

- Don't buy too many low ranked paints ( Blue, Red, Black, White, those color paints. No paints with only little defense or paints that only defend 1 type or Turret 

3. Gold Boxes

* Gold Boxes contain 1,000 - 9,000 crystals ( Depending on Holidays )

* How to get them

- Have a friend let you get the gold with a combination ( You get onto your friend and he/she will ride you to the gold box and you'll have an advantage

 

 

- Jump from a high building. If there isn't, try using a big tank. Dictator for example, is a big tank that will need lots of strength to be pushed. It is also, the highest tank in Tanki. Drive the dictator to the Gold Box Drop Zone and wait there

- Repair Kit and some drugs

* Repair Kit and Double Armour/ Under Armour ( LOL ) will help alot in Gold Box. Repair Kit when hurt and double armor to reduce the damage of other turrets. Firebird and DD will do a lot of damage. Try that.  

4. Play in battles 

- Yes, one of the most easiest tasks in Tanki; Battle. Capture Flags, Return them, kill Tankers, Heal Team Mates, and most importantly....... sing the Whip and Ne Ne Song

5. Buy Crystals

- Spend real money on Tanki.

 

6. Participate in Contests

- You will get tons and tons of crystals for winning contests

7. Win the Video of The Week Contest

- Make a good video for Tanki and get 50,000 crystals

MUs are actually worth it as long as you are only MUing your favorite turrets/hulls that you use very often. I did this for my Firebird M2, Freeze M2, Wasp M1, and Hunter M2. Buying crystals is also not necessary to do extremely well. For example, I fully MUd my Firebird M1 by Third Lieutenant, MUd my Wasp M1 31 times, and got Firewall Kit as a First Lieutenant early on. I did all this by specializing in a combo and making good economical decisions.

Or you can use Dictator and Twins like me and ignore all of these rules, then have complete ignorance for anyone else following these rules. Works every time! I just stick to smaller maps like sandbox and polygon.

To become a pro: work hard and utilize your combo over many ranks. Doing this you'll learn all the techniques when using that combo :)
