The authors of all the entries that don’t make it to the top 3 but still deserve recognition, will be rewarded with special prizes as follows:

In-game equivalent of the turret or hull crafted by the author, both fully micro-upgraded and in the highest grade available at the player’s rank, plus 20 000 crystals, and 20 of each supply.

I really enjoyed the process of making it. But there sure are some very good crafted tanks out there, so its going to be tough to get a prize :D

The tank model can be crafted out of any material and should resemble a turret+hull combination from Tanki Online.

The rules only say this, as you mention:

The definition of 'resemble' is this:

"Have a similar appearance to, or qualities in common with, (someone or something); look or seem like"

Examples: "some people resemble their dogs", "they resembled each other"

 

If someone said someone 'resembled their dog', that person wouldn't actually look like a dog, as humans aren't dogs... so, anyway, my point is that I don't think the rules stop people from being more creative with their entry.

I did read the rules.

His tank DOES meet those criteria.

It does NOT say that his paint should resemble Tanki Online painting styles. The hull itself meets the criteria...it's the paint that is different. :P

And his paint is NOT digitized, unlike someone who privately messaged me. This other guy had an amazing turret but he used digital paint.
