I request all the members who were never interested to enter to please sit calmly for a while and think over it, I know it's not possible for you guys to get into the shoes of those who entered, but still try your best and think over it because it's just not right to let people know of your one-sided viewpoints.

 

If you cannot, I would suggest you not to comment on this as you have not experienced what the others have. Please try to consider what people are trying to say and only then let us know of your respective opinions.

1. I was interested but changed my mind when I reread the rules and knew my own limited creative abilities.

2. Being neither biased for those in authority or those against authority actually gives myself and people like me a far more impartial/fair view than either of those two groups, since both those groups (you being in the latter group) are predisposed to NOT thinking calmly. :P

3. I'm noticing that Lhamster looks to be typing pretty much the same views I have, plus I have things I need to do in my offline world, so I'll leave the rest of this discussion up to him/her, at least for several hours anyway...

I could have expected anything better from a person who is connected to tanki in any way, you mods always support the tanki and justify them, when you can't, you just repeat same lines and try to get rid of the complainer by boring them, you dont even have your opinions, what else to say. Yours is a sad position to be in.

I do not blindly defend it, its just you don't see my ranting and raving as it wouldn't be appropriate to do it in public.

Should've told us that if we don't have a personal workshop in our backyard we shouldn't have entered. I saw lots of tanks that were made with way less effort than some other tanker's who got nothing. Slap a block of wood here, block of wood there, paint it, - boom, you're good to go! If you work your abs off to make something that's not wood, metal or something "interesting" (though looks good), you ain't gonna succeed. You can call this crying, you can call this ranting, don't really care. Thing is, if you're just an average tanker who is trying to enjoy your time playing the game and trying to win some stuff here and there, forget it. You have a chance (like a couple of the winners), but it's not bigger than getting hit by a bus.

 

 

P.S. Just pointing things out:

#5 looks more like a dictator, and seems like had just 5 slabs put together;

#9 does not resemble any tank in the game, so I've got no idea what hull they'll give him;

Last one is not original at all. The guy just copied his tank, which shows his lack of imagination, and that was a big part of the judging.

 

Don't talk back to this, I don't want to hear anything about the "fairness" and "objective judges". Just let it go and move on with your life. I'm just a crybaby afterall.

look you need to go back and see what the entry's look like ..the rules stated 

 

To take part you need to:

• Craft any TO tank out of any material (physical materials only — no digital art in this one)

most of them are wall paper pictures or even a staff member adding her photo that was the v-log contest picture

Either way, I already made a post that defended that tank and I explained why I defended it.

Taking inspiration from a computer drawn image and making your own real 3d version is not against the rules. Please show me the original picture that got photoshopped if it is a fake.

Please do read everything carefully (that's why I recommend people like you to refrain from commenting as it is very obvious that you guys never cared to read them carefully as you never intended to participate) before commenting. Don't make a fool of yourself here in the forum.

 

TO...you haven't successfully made a fool of us today because even if you have executed this event in a very shrewd and tactful manner, we are now very well aware of it all. We are not falling into this trap again.

i am so annoyed about this contest, and feel screwed (screewed if this is blanked out) by tanki. almost all of the winners were Russian, and a lot more people poured their hearts into a tank they made. but no. unless you are a metal worker, mechanic, carpenter or know someone who is one of these professions, then you could have just given up before you started. no ordinary, loyal tanker can even get into top 10!

 

honestly, i made thunder xt m3 and viking xt m3, when i was the rank of major general, and had just ranked, I had 10 10 days to rank up again, and I did it. I was so proud and excited, as I had made my tank (to an amazing quality - as good as I could do anyway-, in my opinion). for almost a week I was ecstatic, waiting for the results of the contest. I didn't expect to win, but I expected something.

 

I am disappointed, enraged and feel conned by my 'favourite' game - which, to some of your dismay, I have spent quite a lot of money on.

its horrible. also, the 10k for the people who did 'good quality' (lol) is absolutely pathetic. 10, 000 crystals will almost, yes almost!,buy you m1 smoky....... *clap, clap, clap*..... wow...... smoky m1........ wow........ just.... wow.......

 

quite frankly, its shameful, disgusting and you should really reconsider how you set up and judge contests, because you've messed this up BIG TIME.

 

in addition, you said that anyone whos tank is of decent quality will get a turret or/and hull they made, fully micro upgraded and to the highest grade of their rank, and I know for a fact that there was more than 20? I don't know exactly how many winners there were, but there were a lot more people who did better, or as good. the way the contest was pitched was misleading and made me think I had an okay to decent chance of getting an m4 thunder.... HA!!

 

and what am I left with? a model tank, disappointment, and hatred for the game I love.

 

well done tanki..... well... done.

 

one last thing, I don't want hate from any misguided keyboard warriors, so please, spare me the effort of reading a pointless, worthless, snide 'comeback', and if I see a comment that says 'your mum', I will literally give up hope on humanity.

Hi, can somebody give me contact to people responsible for judgment of tankicraft contest? I won nothing, but 90% of winners looks worse or much worse than my tank. Here are 4 of 11 my tanks photos. I think I deserve at least equivalent of the turret or hull. I am starting to lose trust in tanki online fair-play. nickname: exitus746

saw you on the forums, I agree with you, but what can we do now? the contest is over and many more gullible tankers will fall for these sneaky tricks that tanki play.... I think we should just accept that nothing will change -_-
