Yep. Don't take this the wrong way, but I thought it would be time to take a loss. Everyone has to encounter failure at least once.

But you have to be able to deal with failure and recover from it.

TL;DR for those who didn't want to read:

It's important to fail (literally but I don't mean harm), but you have to learn from the mistakes.

For example (in popular culture):

The Golden State Warriors last year (NBA) were really good. Record good. Being in the area, I supported them.

They were just spectacular earning a 73-9 W/L.

But near the end of the NBA Finals they lost really badly in games 5 and 6 and eventually lost the championship. They came from a 3-1 lead to a 4-3 loss. Quite sad.

But why? Why, you may ask?

Well, I consider one of the reasons to be that during the season the Warriors were just too good. They didn't encounter failure, and never had to deal with it. But when they entered the playoffs they were in really bad situations with the Thunder and the Cavs. That's because they started to encounter failure. Their first few big failures. And they didn't know how to recover. Sounds sad, isn't it?

So why did the Cavs, a 57-25 team, win? Because even though they made losses, they learned to recover and do better. That's where they're stronger.

 

Putting this all back into context, it's just that it's okay to lose, but it's important to recover from this and learn from this loss.

 

Now let's not discuss the NBA further as we might get into a war here.

Really Gabriele? You leave a clan just because it lost in a match? We must learn to coordinate in  a team. We already play very less wars so we aren't so much coordinated. Maybe the other team were bunch of higher ranks(using alts) and using skype calls for a win. I would say you should join back and help "Happy Dragons" team to get qualified for the DS playoffs. If you leave , the team would lose one precious member.

Now its upto you...

In ~60 minutes of game time, we capped 2 flags! (and conceded 45...). N.B. Both opposing clans were using TS (team speak)

 

In other news, congrats to everyone for 800 pages...

 

And, finally, I suggest weekly training for everyone in DS teams (if possible) on all eSports maps, with TS. Hopefuly next year (if there is a next year) we can thoroughly smash our way to victory!

Holding more XP/BP trainings would help, I think, and although I've never played XP/BP nor am I participating in any DS battles, I do think communication is key - Teamspeak or even a shorthand code (like the one suggested by someone, pretty sure it was Drakon?) would do a lot to help teamwork.

Sleepy Dragons, we will probably be holding our 2nd Domination Series battle (1st one was cancelled because the opponents "retreated") on Wednesday, at noon/afternoon UTC. Map, format and other stuff will be announced shortly and will also be re-confirmed! 

 

Also, don't worry, if the opponents take too much time, we will push it to Thursday or Friday so that it doesn't become too short-notice!
