I need 1-on-1 help in XP/BP. Getting killed in the crossfire is not helping me. There is an entire theory of play behind this and I do not know any of it, let alone the proper way to handle a slow firing turret on a fast hull. I played a 3-on-3 recently and even when I tried my best, I still got in the way of my teammates. So until someone gives me proper training on how to handle Railgun on a fast hull, please put a chair in my place - it would probably do better.

I'd love to be in that training session too.  Just bought M2 Hornet/Rail over Xmas sales, and trying to learn it still.  Enjoying but knowing some of the better tricks for the variety of roles (offense, defense, camper, etc) and on some different maps, would be cool..!!  ;)

Player, sad to see you feeling this way again.  And I'm always sad when someone leaves this clan.  :(  This place has been a nice constant for me the last few 6-8 months that I've been around (soon after my mom got cancer, and during my mourning)...  A place to find someone to play with, to chat with, to try new things with.  We are better because of our different Temperaments, Talents and Convictions (not the illegal - go to jail kind!).  I like how we can span ages, countries, religions, sexes, opinions and interests - yet still come together in play.

 

NOTE to all, although one thing may sound funny to you, not everyone takes things the same way.  We don't know what is happening in another person's shoes.  I'm sure most of the clan is made up of people still considered 'kids' or 'teens' - under the typical adult age of 18yo..  I always remember the story about a bride going to get her hair done on wedding day.  The stylist is late, the bride-to-be complaining the whole time, ****ing on and demeaning the stylist.  When she is paying to leave, she overhears that the stylist's brother just died in a car crash before she arrived to work.  Damn - puts things in perspective.  :unsure:

It seems to me that we do actually have a pretty well disciplined clan, but the point of discipline is to report it to a senior (eg. Limmy, Gnat, Zen, BD30 or myself) who can then discipline the person in question. As I have learnt from mult(iple) parkour games with randoms, if you don't fight back, soon enough whoever it is will leave you alone. Minor squabbles can easily be stopped, but fighting back or ragequitting does not help. I will have a word with Vrydes about this (and a few other things). I shall also have a chat with extreme about his comments (interesting considering he is also a "kid"...

 

No matter what you say, I am begging you not to leave, and if you decide that you really hate it here, then yes, I will miss you. Just try not to let the "red mist" (no pun intended) settle. If you are thinking of leaving, sleep on it for a night. With your consistent training session hosting, you have a high chance of being a new crested. If you really hate it here enough to want to wipe away all you have worked for, then fine. But please, and I am actually begging here, stay with us. We do want you in this community, but for a clan to enforce its rules, we need to know when the rules have been broken.

My golden rules when it comes to Tanki (and the internet in general):

1. ​IRL comes first. Don't call off events IRL to play Tanki. You should try and avoid staying up and losing sleep to play Tanki. If Tanki is affecting your life/studies, it is perfectly ok to ask for a LoA.
2. ​Remember, you might mean something as a joke, but someone else might not see it as that.
   Saying "kill yourself" may be a harmless, off-hand comment to you, but if someone has just lost a close friend/family member to suicide, they won't see it as funny.
