As far I know , Legendary dragons can take part in trainings. (Sagitarii once allowed NHR to participate in our training). I don't know about clan wars

It probably is an honorary title because you gave so much back then. I interpret it as an open invite.

Also, why did a certain dragon say Legendary Dragons are basically "dragons forever"? What did it mean? And what on earth is the Legendary Dragon position anyways?

I'm not one of the older players in the clan, so I won't assume too much. I believe that it means you are a trusted player who we will take the advice of and who can participate in our training, and is kind of an "honorary member" of the clan. However, as you aren't technically part of the clan, you are unable to participate in wars or eSports events. 

 

So it essentially means that we will listen to you, and you are like a member of the clan (kind of), but can't participate in wars or events with us. So you have some degree of say in clan matters I think.

I would say if I had to trust anyone in the clan, it would probably be Limitfull or Kaisdf. Both are reliable, fairly active, mature, and generally trustworthy as far as I can tell.

Alrighty, now I'm wondering what it'll take to get y'all to tone down the spam.... DOS wanted you to stop, Zen wanted you to stop, and now I want you to stop, but you keep right on doing it. So starting now I'm gonna be much more harsh when it comes to flood warnings. Tofu even said that I should start being ruthless (although I informed him that I can't cause I have a very good friend named Ruth heh), and that's pretty shocking coming from him. Y'all might wanna keep an eye on your spam from now on. ;)

Your Royal Highness, I support your decision on becoming harsh. As we approach our 1 year anniversary and moving up the Clan Ladder to Tier 1, having the pro view just adds to our persona.

Potentially with Tanki Masters Support, maybe we can designate 1 day per year (or quarter or month) as SPAM day, just so everyone can have a little fun and blow off steam, if they are not already on SKYPE, cuz Skype is the answer to your spamology needs.  Thousands of mundane posts can accumulate soooo fast there...!

 

And re Ruth, could always try RUTHFULL, ]->if RUTHLESS is not a good option...

 

I may be a spammer at heart, and I shall never forget the awesome days of spamming that we've done in the past (#Xmas2016), but I must agree. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled. Keep posts containing relevant information, and keep all smalltalk and itsy-bitsy casual discussion into Skype chats. This isn't to say that we can't have awesome i3anter on the clan page, just keep it meaningfull and mature.

Before people start saying that I betrayed Spambrozz, I don't think you realise the condition here. Everyone here lives in their own bubble, but once you go out of clan then only do you realise how much people make fun of Hd, to them its nothing but a 'Nug spammer clan' and sometimes its even true. Although you guys have started training a lot, trainings are nothing but meeting up and playing clan vs random/clan vs clan. In trainings test new strategies. People should be given positions but even that should rotated so that there is overall development of the tanker, not just in sniping/flag stealing etc.

 

Toning down the spam is important because the page gets filled with irrelevant stuff and important stuff gets lost in the plethora of posts. This is why some members who are active ingame but not so in forums prefer to skip reading the clan page and don't get notified. This is why despite being a large clan, few members show up at wars just because the others members can't be bothered to read through all the spam.

Games are supposed to be fun.

Fun is defined differently, by different people.

A little bit of spam here and there, mixed in with some professionalism here and there, mixed in with some game talk here and there - will hopefully appeal to most people.  But when Tanki Lords are watching, we are using their systems, and will need to watch the overall rules too.

Okay, I just read over all the spam stuff with everyone crying about spam. I then did a real quick calculation in my head. The last 100 pages were posted in 14 days, which is approximately 6 pages per day, or 1 page every 4 hours, or 5 posts every hour, OR 1 post every 12 minutes. I then went back to the times when me and tofu and drak were going hard spamming. With what looks to be half of our posts deleted we made the same number of posts in the same amount of time. That effectively means that we've halved the amount of spam there is on this page. 

 

Now I know I've been real inactive recently, and therefore my say in things doesn't have much sway, but still. Stahp criing. There's less spam than ever and people are leaving because there's too much, while at the same time other people are leaving because there's not enough?! WHAT?! :blink: :wacko:  :huh:  :mellow:  <_<  -_-

 

To those of you who think that there is too much spam, understand that we cleared 100 pages in about 8 days. You won't find this because some mod deleted at least half our posts, but you don't know the half of it. As is explained below, if spam is such a big problem for you, don't just leave. That's not going to get you anywhere except out of a clan. Try to change peoples views, or hang on as the bigwigs crack down on spam. But don't complain about it. That never got anyone anywhere.

 

To those of you who say that there's not enough spam, just take a quick look around on the forum. We still clear more pages a day than any other clan, and we, as a clan that is STILL IN NEWCOMERS, have a higher post count than almost all other clans on the forum. Get real. We spam loads. We honestly make other clans look like they should all be closed with the number of messages we send.

 

To those of you who say that people outside HD laugh at us, what do we care? Our clan hasn't closed three or four times over as plenty of other clans have. We actually have good friendships that have been made through this clan, and isn't that more important than any success of some clan in a game that's going to close soon anyways?

 

Finally, to the big bosses, Gnat, Zen and abs. Don't just outright ban spam. That hasn't worked over the past 1400 pages, what makes you think it'll work now? You're better to slowly work at people, or slowly kick them from the clan. The reason people don't respect the no spamming rule is that it has never had a viable consequence. I understand this. As the main skype person, people don't swear or spam or break the rules on skype. Why? Because if they do I kick them from the group. Either slowly try to change peoples opinions or start cracking down on them. However, understand that by cracking down on people, you run a very real risk of losing many people to other, less strict clans.

From someone who has finished the teenage years ...

Although hard, I was told around when I was 17yo from a wise Brazilian - "Always be nice to everyone".  The latter part of that was "cuz even the ugly chicks have hot friends" - which isn't really very politically correct in the current day and age, though Trump may be bringing such allowances back...

The point being, you never know when you may find yourself needing the support of someone else.  Game, RL, work, etc.  The world can be a small place, and the relationships you foster can only make it better.  "Karma is a ****" I've also heard.

Be nice.  Play hard, but fair..

LEGENDARY DRAGONS - I believed this to be a place for significant dragons, who for various reasons, left the Clan.  But who, while walking our Hallowed Halls, made impacts in the Game or Leadership or Time & Posts & Input...

On a serious note though, it is extremely hard to be caught up on the latest events with all this spam. I'm normally really laid-back with a "who-gives-a-flying-turtle" attitude, but honestly this has gone far enough. We have Skype, we have Discord, we have forum PMs, I think we even have a teamspeak somewhere, you all can spamchat there. Thanks all, please keep this forum clan nice and clean.
