GG HD vs random we did allot of XP.BP before this with dedi, this was a long battle we were waiting for players to join most of the time too and ext decided to start flipping people so everyone started flipping eachother but when players joined we played hard and won

Edit 2: I think you did it on purpose as the first part is a heading and the second part is a paragraph. But why would you make half part of a sentence a heading and the other half a paragraph? :mellow:

My description below (should I try out for News Reporter? The writing only took me 10 minutes)

For the gold I caught today I just happened to join the battle, and I saw what looked like a speed boost dropping. But then I looked closer and the truth was revealed: It was a gold box! I literally just joined the battle so I didn't even see the Gold Box notification.

 

I quickly pressed 4 (speed boost) and charged towards the drop zone in the map Year 2042. Luckily to my advantage the only people there were wasps and hornets.

 

But perhaps it was too late: the box was just about to touch the wasp's hull. With all my might, I pressed the up arrow key as hard as I could, hoping I would be lucky enough to break through. Thankfully, I had a Dictator M2, so I pushed them out of the way, just in time for the gold box to land on my Dictator hull.

 

On the screen the message in gold letters appeared: [PROV] Fleety_awesome has taken the gold box. I was filled with delight as the "+1,000" symbol rose up from my tank, the gold letters, making my lips turn upwards into a smile

 

So there you have it; a perfect example of a lucky gold box catch.

I had a luckier one...

 

I joined a Poly CP XP/BP. We were losing about 90-30 when I joined, but I thought "To hell with it!" I went straight for the point, as usual, and saw no one there, which surprised me. I suddenly got rekt by some rail M3s, then spawned, and saw everyone heading up a ramp.

 

At that point, I twigged, and followed, aiming for the gold. It was right next to the top of the ramp (to where the Blue flag would be). I got to the top of the ramp, and as I was soaring through the air, flying like an eagle, I got hit in the side and rolled upside down on top of another tank. I then slid along the top of three tanks, whilst upside down, and nabbed the gold.

 

10 seconds later, the battle ends, with me still upside down. We lost, and I had 9 score and got 6 crystals. But I got the gold.

One time I actually just joined a battle and spawned right next to the goldbox drop zone on the corner of the map (that was before you could see where the goldbox drop zone was from far away), so I just pretended to be afk and took the gold when it dropped. Easiest gold ever, also extremely lucky because if I spawned, say, a few meters away, I would've missed the gold.

I mean one time I referred someone, he got a +1 crested vote, but then everyone else forgot about his application (two elder votes as well, if those count as anything). His name was @DarkDeath_GTO . About a month ago. My own application took about a week. Normally, the application is done in 2-3 days.

 

This clan probably has something against TM members :P

    Like every child who ever lived, I had dreams. Many of them.

 

    I dreamt of being an astronaut, to see space and the stars. Or a firefighter and rescue cats from trees and people from burning buildings. Possibly a police officer and stop the bad guys. Or I could have been a doctor and helped nurse sick people back to proper health. Maybe I could have grown up to learn how to pull a car apart, piece by piece and put it back together again as if it had never been touched. Sad truth is dreams don’t always come true.

 

    Life is life and will do as it pleases, good or bad. At times, everything at first appears to be falling into place, but then one of your building blocks at the bottom of your stack moves and all your work falls out of place. That’s when it all comes crashing down, unexpected, no way of preventing it. You work so hard, so painstakingly hard, to fulfill your dreams, to achieve your goals. Then you’re hit with such a sucker punch, you wish you were dead.

 

    I wanted to be a runner. To run for miles without stopping. Maybe win a marathon, to cross the finish line first and take home the trophy.
