Am back from a lovely weekend trip down to the states. Nice to see that we are really cutting down from what used to be hundreds of posts a day to tens, possibly less. This is probably considered unnecessary posting, which is why I'm including a couple other thoughts here, but splendid job to everyone.

 

 

From his previous post, I can smell Sliced posting a re-app here, so I think I'll ninja him right now:

 

Clan hoppers are generally looked down upon. I'm sure you mean no harm, but this applies to everyone who's been in and out of multiple clans as of recently - make your case carefully or not at all. Friendly warning.

Unofficial training tomorrow. Very informal, might technically be counted as a clan vs. random if you want to. No formats, only general clan rules apply (no cussing or any other such behaviour, etc.), just be online at around 7:00 UTC -0 and join me in whatever battle I'm in. No sweat if you can't or don't join, the only real rewards to be gained from this are a couple crystals/EXP and some fun times with me. Cheers, feel free to ask any questions in PM.

Hi all! How are you doing?

It's Fleety, and I am currently in the middle of my trip in China. I currently don't have access to a computer and I am writing this on a phone. However, once I do find a computer I can try playing online to see if I can (or cannot :P) But I'm still on an LoA (for some reason not noted on clan page yet) due to my limited time for Tanki matters during my trip.

I saw your post about being demoted in the clan. It's completely okay. It isn't that you're not worthy or something, it's rather that you were unable to attend trainings. All of us at HD understand that it may be hard to attend trainings due to your time zone. Being demoted isn't a personal attack, it's just a matter of active participation in events.

I, myself have been demoted before. If you remember, I was a Crested for some time last year. Later, I got more busy and didn't have the time so I resigned myself as I didn't want to stay in my position but do nothing. During my inactivity, I was also demoted from Elder Dragon to a plain Dragon. Sure, it might have been a little sad for me at most, but it was completely true that at the time I was not as active during trainings and other events as other members of the clan. The best thing to do at this point would to just move on, and if you want to contribute more as in perhaps adjusting some parts of your schedule for trainings, do just that, and you may get your position raised back up.

 

TL;DR:

Just don't panic about it especially if you can't do much about attending trainings.

I know I barely see anyone anymore, but im just saying that it isn't the BEST idea. but it's coming from me - I once joined his battle, we were friends but he got angry because apparently, i was noob and he told me to get out. I didn't, and changed to my M3 combo to play properly but he lost control and called me kid, noob etc. and just got really mad.

Btw, we were friends because we had been parkouring together. You guys don't need to listen to me or take it seriously but i'm just giving you a head up.

Hey guys. Most of you will remember me, but some of you may not. I was a... relatively high ranked member of the clan, before disappearing months ago. Those who remember me are probably mad at me for leaving, especially with so many things changing and the clan needing to be reorganized.

I'm going to try to explain my absence, in a rambling sort of way. If you're not interested in reading it, or if you're still upset over my disappearance I guess I can't really blame you. It was selfish, and I'm not proud of it. All I can really say is sorry.

 

 

    Anyway, it was a couple weeks after we were eliminated from the Domination Series that I started to become inactive. I was much more discouraged then I let on about our defeat, and I had let schoolwork pile up. To tell the truth, I had been spending far too much time on TO in the weeks leading up to the series, when I really ought to have been studying. I kind of gave up on the clan. I essentially quit the game, and moved on. Or so I thought. With everything going on in my life I really didn't think about TO, or HD, at all for at least a month or two. Whenever TO related thoughts (HD related thoughts, really) came up I just ignored them. I figured the clan was dead, and everyone would be mad at me, so there wouldn't be anything to go back to. Honestly, I also couldn't bring myself to write an apology before this - although I lost some sleep thinking about what I'd say if I did.

 

    Yesterday though, I opened up the TO forum. I don't know why, I didn't plan to play the game ever again. The first place I looked? The archives. I expected to see HD there. I recognized several of the clan names from other clans that started after us, but HD wasn't there. So I looked here. I couldn't believe my eyes. Not only is HD still here, but it had grown. As I read through the clan page and the clan documents, I saw the info on members page. I'll admit, I was annoyed at first when I saw 'betrayal' listed next to my in game hours. However, I really have no right to be - that's exactly what I did. I betrayed you all. Yet you're more organized, you're tougher, and you've renovated the clan page. It seems you've done fine without me. You've done what I never managed to do. However, I'd like to be a part of the clan again. I'm not sure I deserve to take up any sort of leadership position though. I'll be in contact with the highest ranking members of the clan to discuss what position, if any, I will be taking in the clan.

 

One more thing. For those who wish to contact me, please PM my @DragonOfTheMist account. I will not be using this account in game or in forum for a while. It still feels wrong.
