Wow, a lot has appeared to happen over the weekend, while I thought I was relaxing...

 

But before I start my TEXT WALL, I just need to say good bye to a good friend in Tanki .. a strong player that I've always enjoyed having on my team (ofc Kaiser, u posted the game that you came out on top, and not the other 3 when I dominated!!  hhh).  A strong person, inside and out, who I am sure will help the world for the better, and leave positive memories wherever his steps shall take him.

I have left this clan.

 

I joined a clan at 1st Lt to try and get some esports experience, and clearly this isn't right for that. I came for esports, but stayed for the people. @LIMITFULL, @Extreme245, Flabsy, Dedimult, sporkl, rish, Extiger, ttk, zenmult, and the list goes on. I lub you all and its been so great getting to know you. I'll still be relatively active, if you ever need anything, I'll still be the right end of a PM, be it discord, skype, forum, happy and willing to help as far as I can.

 

However, now we've been dropped to Newcomers? I don't think I can handle it. Of 21 RCs, I turned up to 18. We had enough people to make a team for 4 matches. 4 times out of 21, no other people could be bothered to turn up. Then came International Championship. All you had to do was turn up to 3 matches for 150k. 3 matches​. How many matches did we play? (And I say "we" very loosely, it was literally 4v1 at one point). We played 1 match. And "Played" is being generous.

 

You all need to try being a skype rep and discovering just how soul crushing it is to have to forfeit day after day after day, week after week, tournament after tournament, because your clan mates, in supposedly the most active clan in the EN forum, couldn't be bothered to turn up. So I give up on you. Sorry to steal credit, but it was me registering us for every RC that got us to 2nd league. I did all I could to get us there, and I tried my best to keep us there. I missed 3 IC matches, yes, but I tried.

 

Anyway, doom and gloom aside:

 

Page 650, my little nubby application is still there, hidden away in a spoiler, with an instant yes from Flabsy <3. Since then, pages 1k, 2k... You'll hit 3k before long, I'm sure of it.

Just wanted to add that you were NOT the only soul-crushed spirit having to run Ranking Cups ... I did a few, and then PPS helped on a bunch, until you came to keep it going.  YES, it is painful trying to get a team rounded up, when you just don't know who if or when anyone will come.  It's a hard thing to swallow, and would definitely be good to share around so anyone knows the effort and can appreciate it.

Sadly, I can't play eSports with the Checker while at work, and then my weekends are usually too busy with family life to get on game, and then to be able to say I've got 1 or 2 or 3 hours straight available.  Sorry Dragons, I'm just not able to help out there.

Regular Monday to Friday, no eSport Checker UID needed, and I'll try to be there for sure.

 

The one easy thing above - THE PEOPLE.  We have some great people that have been around this clan over the years!  And still are, and will still forever be.

 

Well guys, maybe this should be a wakeup call for us. To be honest, all that Kais said was spot on. He may be a mult, but at least he's a mult with a brain. We've come a long way since registering two moderately skilled teams for DS. I think a big part of it is that we've lost Zen, PPS, and now Kais. Apart from Dos, they were the most crucial members of the clan (Kais being arguably the most crucial). I think it's time to change some things up. We're extremely disorganised. Half our members don't even show up for trainings even if they're online. More than half don't/can't show up for important wars. Nearly all of us don't use voice communication during wars. It's not a shocker that we're back in Newcomers; the shocker is that we stayed in League Two as long as we did.

 

That being said, I'm guessing we'll have a chance to get back into League Two. It's basically empty right now, which means that there'll have to be Ranking Cups sometime soon. If we all work together, and if Dos keeps our official squad updated, I think there's a good chance we'll be back up in no time.

 

I think it's time to make some new Google Forms to see what times people are available/whether people are willing to participate in tournaments.

Yes, there will always be the need for wake up calls.

Yes, although we are a tight band of brothers, our time playing together in the game is not consistent, or full.

Yes, I'd be completely happy to join regular Monday to Friday training, even if I couldn't make the actual tournament games.

 

Although it wasn't said, I believe we could use a shake up on the leadership side.  Even myself.

Leaders should be easily getting 5,000 or 10,000 exp per week, have the requisite M3s (or M4) for tournament games, and supporting regular (daily?) training matches.  Just need a schedule made, with maps + formats, and then a commitment to join.

 

1stly, I just got eye cancer reading that, please, change your colour.

 

2ndly, you thought THIS clan was gonna give you eSports experience? Were you insane? This clan does nothing and never has. The few clan wars that it has had were mostly done before I joined even. (Names like nickyaw and smokypro5000 (do any of the members here remember them?)) You joined after I did and we hadn't had a clan war in like, 100 pages at least. 

As for this clan being active, it never claims activity in game. Most of the members have at one time or another clearly trashed on the game, because it's trash. The only place this clan has ever claimed activity is in the forum, where it is undoubtedly the reigning champion.

The interesting thing is that HD has won quite a few clan wars that will never be recorded. Why? Because they were forum wars where instead of winning battles. HD got entire clans shut down (See GC and CC I think it was). 

 

3rdly, if you want actual esports experience, go to an active game. This game is dying. The people who think this game is active are morons. Go play something good.

 

Finally, gl hf. If I can, I would recommend you rank up a bit more and go to The Falcons (if you are now looking for a clan) They're decent.

Per, I love u bro.  Your comments can be harsh, but I believe that you are always trying to do the right thing to help, in your own way.

I remember those names, and having a few wars.  Sure, I would have loved more, but even just the gatherings have been useful.  Like playing with other members who would comment - try to help with some techniques or strategies.  Or could keep track of the seconds until what supply drops were coming up in which corners (Kaiser).
There are lots of people active in the game, on a regular basis.  I see them.  Always have.

But, for eSports mania, agreed Tanki isn't showing up on ESPN or anything yet, and I can't see the popularity up there yet.

BTW, I'll be holding training as much as I can. Everytime different format. Tho I really don't think I will be able to organize a training at a particular time, I'll do it on spot. HD demotion has affected me. And I'll try my best to hold more training to get us stronger. I myself don't know when I'll quit the game but it will be VERY SOON. Till then I'll try to organize training daily.

Upon reading the news I would like to thank Kaiser for all that he has done for this clan. Leaving or not, you deserve my recognition on your help and guidance to the clan. Even though I was on an LoA for a lot of the time when you first started becoming a crested an all (therefore I'm not that clear on learning about what you did early on), I can tell that you were a big asset to this clan.

Kais, I suggest you join [bC]--------------------------------------------------------------------[bread Clan] lol. I think they might have bread competitions there (hence being more competitive than us), gl have fun!

Though the decision may not have been the one that I had hoped for, considering I like and care for this clan very much, I respect your decision. Your statements are quite valid and I do agree that this clan needs some work to do.

But I enjoyed this clan so much myself that it wasn't so much of the clan wars (though I was in one) that I liked, I liked the clan. So it really depends on what you prefer; competition and skills improvement, or socializing and interacting with a nice, caring environment.

 

That said, though I do honor your decision, personally I do not wish for Kaiser leaving to cause a ripple effect for other members in this clan (because I care for this clan's future! :D ). So I offer you a question:

You are on a small boat in a river. Suddenly, the hull (bottom) breaks and water starts leaking inside. The hole is very big and requires many people to patch it and also to use buckets to remove the water in the boat and dump it outside. However, there are other ships nearby that you could perhaps reach.

Do you:

- Jump ship and leave the others to deal with the problem themselves, and you simply swim to go on another boat, or

- Work hard and coordinate with others (not leave) to see how to better resolve the problem?

(you little nitpickers will always find some loophole or something else to troll around but please understand my point)

I understand, Kaiser, that you have been always been working super hard. But for others, if you have not been stepping up recently to action, do so! But please don't leave this clan because you feel like it has some problems. With your help, we can work to fix this issue easily. We can only fail if you all leave.

But the truth is that u turned up so much for RC's cuz ur timezone matched it. Half of the clan has indian/pak's and so the time was very late for us. We tried our best to turn up to the tourney ( i fought with mom for playing too -_-). 

Cmon kais, don't leave cuz we dropped to newcommers. There is always next time. We all will give what we have got and next time will make it to 2nd leage again...

It's not my logo, it used to be the older logo for HD. You uploaded your logo a few days after the problem with the images, so I was asking why no one used the older logo for HD.
