Super long games

I see a lot of matches being played with crazy limits, like 999 flag captures or 999 minute limit, that's 17 hours! And I have never seen any of those games even close to being finished! If I am correct, those people, some with over 5000 points in one match never see those crystal rewards? Or they wait for server restart? What??? :x

Super games have super endings, The longest I played was 4 hours and I got 875 Crystals from that.

I think my highest was 350 or 400 crystals in one game, but I don't think I can play all day. Unless I slept till server restart, then made a game that long, then play until it is over. :mrgreen: I should try that some time. 8)

Yep, They reset at 5 AM (UCT +3) I need a little help on that because I don't know the fixed time, its always 7AM (UCT +5) For me. :mrgreen:

 

Other than that, the servers also reset once in the mid-time, but at that time everyone is transfered to another server.

Two golds, over 300 from the ground and result over 1700 crystals.

 

All 999 flags!

Blue team (I, Gehik, Kam_maximus and hitmen ) playing 5-6 hours, from 11 pm to 4 or 5 am. But before we came, the red team playing during all day.

Gehik and Kam_maximus uses drags, and we won! When we started, red team winning with 575:200 flags. It was very hard battle.

I, too, found fascination and amazement in these marathon games. Who on earth can spend that much time in a game?!? Welp! Me, once. I played a game that went ten hours. Admittedly the reward thrilled, but I still felt foolish withal. I got to the point where I coveted a server reset to save me from the loss quitting the game would've caused. It didn't reset. :( That's taking Tanki addiction to stunning levels, but whatever floats your boat, eh?

Anyways, I've seen people staying in 999-minute battles from the start to the end. I wonder if they have anything else to do at all. One example is this:

One day at 7:30 I woke up and checked my e-mail also went on Tanki just to see if my friend was online or not. Then I saw this guy (can't remember's his name) had 0 points and the time was 996:24. So I thought that he was definitely gonna quit after an hour or so. Then when I logged on to Tanki after I was dismissed from school (about 7 hours), I saw the same guy and he was first and had over 10 000 points. Then I checked again after dinner (about 3 hours passed by) I saw him now over 12 000 points. Then I joined the battle and after 20 minutes there was a server update and the guy got like 9 000 crystals. I say some people is either too addicted to this game or they're very desperate for the crystals. Or they don't have anything else to do. But I do admire those people because I can't stay on my laptop for more than 2 hours or else my eyes start hurting. And how did they have an overall excellent performance without eating?! Sure you would be hungry after 4 hours right? But some people just can't get off the computer. That's something... :roll:

During my game, I ate, I took lots of brakes, I even went to the shop to get some drinks for myself. :) At the end, It was worth it. :mrgreen:

My longest game was 45 minutes and I won 93 crystals. I know I suck :cry: I tried to play for longer but my eyes just can't take the pressure and they start hurting after an hour or so...

That's why I spend like 10 minutes picking battles every time I log on and when I know that I'm in a good battle no matter what happens (I don;t care if the world blows up or something) I'm gonna stay in the battle until the finish, which means I'd probably get 20-100 crystals.

Highest I ever got was about 470-500.

 

And that was a good feeling. Being number 1! That was also a island.
