I wrote victory in the hope it was a typo for 1 more... So it wasn't 6 and it didn't start with M... I hope I get compensated too for their error :( I get that they make mistakes, they're only human after all :) I hope we can just get that removed from our answers...

Yes, it could happen to everyone. Sadly many players with 11 good answers said the event that did not suit there  :unsure:

Great... So if I am right, many players that knew that there is fault and gave there only 1 possibly answer that time had fault there. Not fair, but... nothing to do now.

Not really, I wrote victory- since it was closer to 6 letters rather than the full word. The correct one (now that we know it is 10 letters) is different of course than the one I wrote. I only wrote what I wrote since it was closer to 6... Not cos I didn't know it sooo

Yes, but first letter was M that time. Everything was heading to the M_____ something. 

But finally some great crossword, where Wiki was needed, thumps-up  :)

There were not other fields with a wrongly noted lenght :)

I am sorry for this mistake, I double-check each form before it is released, but sometimes a little detail can be missed out.

 

In regards to your concerns about what will happen, the reply is only one: nothing.

Since you had no limits in writing down the paint's name, once you found the mistake and the right name to submit, you just had to do so. I am aware that this may sound a bit harsh, but MANY users already submitted winning entries, so this was not impossible to be done.

 

One thing that I must notify to everyone is that there was not a "fixed" way to submit an answer — you were asked to write paints' names WITHOUT the space (for example, "TankersDay", not "Tankers Day"), but I am accepting all the answers, what matters to me to define if an user gave a correct answer is that THE PAINT'S NAME IS CORRECTLY MATCHED TO THE PAINT SHOWN.

 

So, for example, if USER-A wrote "TankersDay", USER-B wrote "Tankers' Day" and USER-C wrote "Tankers Day", all these replies will be considered as CORRECT :)

Filled the crossword with correct Answers in under 15 Minutes.I'm 99.99% sure I'll win.Though its my first time but I'm hopeful I'll find my name in the Top 50.There were some mistakes with the *length's*...Wish Issho accept the answers :unsure:

But the 1 thing that made me unsure was that M at the start of it. Not going to complain here anymore,I had around 2-3 faults, but the biggest problems were the starting letter, not the limit of letters and the second was that 1 more paint suited there perfectly and it was last day of the current holiday too (they are not separated anymore)

wow... so countless people put the incorrect answer because of a typo but nothing will be done? I thought this project was going well so far but the tide is turning in my eyes. Honestly don't really care about the 10k at all, just that the heads of the project can't compensate players because of a mistake they made. So what if the form still allowed you to enter a longer answer? If the crossword only allows a certain amount of letters, that's how many most people will enter... at least the last I checked that was how crosswords worked.

Issho it's length not lenght. Sorry, but spellings should be corrected especially when you see a whole form full of:' lenght x letters'

 

And for the 5th, the 10 letter word will be accepted, right?

Sorry, but the paints' name is unique — I know that Row 5 caused some doubts, but it was ONLY ONE mistake and that paint's name is unique, it could not be another one.

I am fully aware that Row 5 may have taken some more time for some users, but do not worry, there are many other chances to win ahead :)

They did not have to fix the exact letters' count provided by me — the letters' count refers to answers written with "no space" format, like "TankersDay". As I said before, I will accept answers such as "Tankers Day", "Tankers' Day" or "TankersDay" :)
