Update 05 Sep 2016 :

Tankers, sadly test drives have recently been disabled in the game.  The feature did not quite work out the way the developers intended, and for players they were rather scarce and not very popular either.  In future the feature might be reworked, but to answer your question - no, currently test drives have been halted.

just one but for Hammer M1 when I was second lieutenant, the feature surely needs a tweak because it's too rare 

 

and even the PDs, I never got any PD on M2s, I got 2 times for Hunter M1, once for Vulcan M1 and like four times for Firebird M1  :wacko:

I have only gotten one and that was over a year ago.  It was testing out a thunder and hunter modification.  I used it for a minute in one battle, saw it wasn't an effective combo, and switched to another one...I didn't know that after I switched I wasn't allowed to test it again. :/

I have a slight feeling that lower ranks get them more often, i once got isida sale 2 days on a row and thus got over 50%. I also believe i got like 1 more in the same account in like 7 days... or maybe it was just luck, can't really tell.

Had one with Dictator M1 ages ago. I thought I had heard from a mod that Tanki quietly removed test drives but kept personal discounts. I play on my main and three alts and have never gotten another test drive although I still get a PD every few weeks. Never on the equipment I want or at a decent discount though.
