[Interview] Learning more about Parkourist and TFP Leader.

We all have tried parkouring, someone did it better, others not that good. Best parkour experience are from parkouring with friends or alone by One Man Parkour and then showing what have you done. Parkour contests on Tanki are not that many and they are only few times a year so that is why I have got interview with parkourist, The Flying Parkourists leader and well known Forum moderator,player on Tanki


 

When did you start playing Tanki Online? What was your first thoughts about game?

 

I first started playing Tanki Online in 2011/2012, with a different account that was later hacked. Back then, the game was totally different. I really enjoyed it, spent quite some time playing together with friends, we had lots of fun together.

 

When and why you became Parkourist of TO? Who inspired you to start parkouring?

 

Around three years ago. There was no one that would really inspire me, I was driving around a map and saw a high place, and thought "Hey, let's try to get up there, seems fun". At that moment, I got my friends in the battle, and after some time, we managed to get up that "mountain". I still remember that day, great memories.


 

You have been TFP leader for long time. What are your expressions and thoughts about it? Maybe funny story to tell about being in TFP?


 

Being a leader of such an important Parkour Club is not an easy job, but I enjoy every minute of it. Together with my members, we always have fun - either parkouring, or playing together, sometimes even just chatting. It is an amazing experience, I am really happy I had the opportunity to become the leader.


 

Year after year activity of parkouring is sliding down. How do you think, why activity is going down?


 

Unfortunately, I have to agree with that. The main reason in my opinion is, that there is nothing to achieve. Making contests, events, things that would entertain Parkour Clubs, would be a nice idea to fix that. As you know, I am also an active member of EN Community in other aspects, and together with my beloved admin, we are already working on improving the Parkour community, making it bigger and active. Stay tuned on that  ;)


 

Soon there need to be MOP 2016 tournament. Hope that TFP will participate, but do is it enough for parkour to have 1-3 tournaments per year?


 

TFP will participate in all the parkour contests/events, do not worry about that  :P The amount of parkour contests at the moment is just sad, so as said above, together with my admin, we are working to improve that. The way it is right now is just unacceptable.


 

Germans have Areo, ToT had Glide. Why don't EN have unique paints, I wouldn't say that we are making bad parkour guides. What do you think about this?


 

As you said, GTT has Aero, and ToT had Glide, but the reason that EN Community does not have a special paint has nothing to do with the quality of guides. EN Community surely deserves a special parkour paint, and hopefully we will soon get one.


 

Lets not forget TX. You are one of testers for parkouring on it. On TX we will be able to parkour as in TO?


 

Tanki X....Whoever played it, knows the situation on it. For now, I must say that I did not do a lot of Parkour on it, as it is almost impossible, with the server stability, and the fact that there are no private battles. I did test it a bit tho, and it is possible, we will just have to get used to it.


 

You are also German community clan member and are fighting for Star Paint at the moment. Do parkour skills help in some of situations? 1vs1 players have advantage on flag saving/returning situations, what advantages have parkourists?


 

I see you know a lot about me already  :lol: (oops busted  :ph34r: ) Parkour in clans is not a huge advantage, but in rare cases, it can be a life saver. There is a few places where one man parkour is possible, and using it will leave the opponent wondering what just happened  :)


 

Any advice for new parkourists which are trying to improve themself?


 

Parkour is all about fun with friends, always remember that. Start slowly, and eventually you will become better at it, do not worry. If in any case, you have any questions about how to improve in parkour, feel free to PM me  :)

TFP are ok, but F&F's recent videos have eclipsed any other parkour videos I've ever seen.

Kind of hard to compare the 2, when we do totally different content. It's like comparing drugger clans to xp clans, and saying xp clans are better. That isn't necessarily true, so yeah. (Don't worry, f&f's videos amaze me as well :) )
