no one knows what really perfection is due to many have so many flaws with in that u will never see .... even when one takes down the wall around to let in friends or others ..even then there will be secrets with-in that only they will know and then even as time go's on live changes so rapidly

Everything is perfect except humans.

It doesn't make sense to ask if a rock could be better because it can't change, however humans can.

Perfection is only an ideal, a goal, but can never be reached by us conscious beings, precisely because we are conscious.

even a rock is not perfect it is only perfect to the eye of the beholder.. each and every living breathing thing on this planet is and will never be perfect.. it is how we as humans see what we see is to be perfect .. no one really knows what perfect really means ..

I didnt said that because the rock can't change it is perfect.

You judge if a thing is perfect or not based on their values (subjectives you are right).

You didnt created the rock, thus it is not meant to have a value to you.

ok we have the  definition  for it but really when was this word created .. i can say it had to be way before our time and now with new technology finding flaws in everything .. the word perfect or pristine should not be used if you understand from the past post

 

back when the word was created they did not see imperfections the way we see them today..

There is an ever growing "flat earth movement" going on in YouTube videos and the comment sections of NASA videos. How an people be this gullible? The fact that Earth is round had been known for centuries, and people as early as the ancient Greeks knew it. Now some nutjobs are arguing that our planet is flat despite all the evidence, images of earth taken from space, astronauts, and satellites.

To me, this 'flat earth movement' is obviously coming from a necessity for some people to distinguish themselves from others.

People are rebels (although not deeply), thus they need to be seem different (in most cases to pretend themselves superior to others) and it can appear even in the most absurd ways (like this one).

While confronting people with their own certainties is arguably good, the opinions criticized must have more weak points than the opinion defended, in order to keep some credibility (totally neglected in this example).

The fact that the earth is round has been known since ancient times - there is plenty of evidence. There will always be people who deny clear proof to think their own things. Some people simply have a need for attention, and go about it the wrong way. Others are just easily convinced.

The logic they usually use is "I you have not verified it yourself, it is wrong". But even when experts try to debate with them, they find some other reason to deny it (such as that NASA is a Satanist organization, and "Round Earthers" are Satanist too).

proper writing / gramer  math or life skills .. as we all know some of us including myself are  not that great at it.. but then there are others who strive to be perfectionist  in this field and that is  great for them .. but for the average person and others from other country's.. who are  not strong in this field ..find even writing the simplest sentence is a difficult thing to do .. cause of language barriers and other issues  but i find people make a huge issue over nothing .. none of us are perfect  ,but we do our best and cope with day to day activity's.. just to live .. it would be better if people would not point out our flaws and make it stand out for others.. when we don't make issues of your flaws and let them be center of attention ...so next time we go to ridicule others ..think of how they feel and try to be more kinder and respect each other .. also try helping  one another in this world ..

Right, but sometimes criticisms are constructives, and well that is the purpose of criticisms, point out what could be better, and then you can evolve and become a better person, or just find hope in the future, in a possible evolution, because living without hope is not living.

Anyway you must never dwell on what you are, nobody is perfect right, but you can at least try to be better, even if you won't reach perfection.

Just do not lock yourself away in your little routine with vapid problems, what matters is to enjoy your brief moment on Earth...not in today's societies, but on Earth ! (look at the sky during a long time and you will understand)

If the topic in the first post is still on I'd like to say this:

• The defense minister of CANADA  has said that we are visited by over 70 alien races. Due to many alien sightings and unexplained proofs I do think that he's telling the truth. I'm a very nerdy person so believe me on this.
• How I view time is through choices, each choice creates different universes. (Multiverse Theory), For example, their might be a universe where Nazis had one WW2 and our lucky universe where they did not. So basically there are an infinite number of universes each created when a choice is made.

I can't agree with you enough, we humans think of us to be the world *arrogance*. We should be appreciating the beauty of nature and the universe. There's so much complexity and beauty hidden in the fragile ecosystem of the world, it amazes me.

Hmm maybe there are aliens on Earth, maybe not. To choose between yes or no, I'd say yes, for almost the same reasons as you, but does it actually matters ? Why should we care, as long as they are peaceful ? (obviously they are, granted they exist, or else we'd be dead)

About your vision of time, I'd say it is a bit contradictory because if each choice create a universe, then there is no need for time. No past, no future, just different universes. It would be like a film, because a film is actually just a superposition of pictures. In the quantum gravity there is no time, thus "our" world is perhaps just a superposition of quantum positions.Then, just as colours don't really exists, time is just an illusion.

This may be a bit hard for non-scientists, however you described yourself as "nerdy", so I believe there won't be any problems lol.
