I wanted to do that kind of experiment for a long time, but I wouldn't have the time or patience... So that clears up one thing - if a gold drop location is already occupied, the gold will drop in another place. The last question is: what if ALL possible drop locations are occupied - will no more golds ever drop in that battle, or will they drop on top of one another?

I doubt it. Power leveling involves deliberately allowing enemy team members to kill you, capture a point etc. Agreeing to not take the gold box doesn't come under this.

It is, but so are many things that players regularly do. Even agreed Wasp+Fire battles are almost considered as power leveling and developers are doing players a favour my not making them illegal, yet players actually have the guts to ask for Wasp+Fire to be made into an official format.

 

Since the guy did it just for the record, I'm pretty sure it's fine. Also, as far as I know, power leveling cannot get a player banned unless witnessed directly by a moderator in the game.

No, I did actually make the mistake of thinking that leaving gold boxes for one person like that is power leveling. It's not. And there is no evidence to suggest that they used power leveling to get all the gold boxes to drop.

Problem is this was set up, and now everyone who caught "genuine" gold boxes will fight to the death for their record, which is justifiable. I can't remove the previous, yet this seems to be some kind of record to me..

He doesn't need a screen shot. If you had actually taken the time to read the rules for what regulates as a record, then you would have noticed that a Staff member can bear witness to testify for a record in place of a video or image. He runs the entire Tanki Online World Records project, and is a Staff members, so I think you can at the very least assume that he can testify.

Why some records like biggest reward?

This encourages players to play super long battles and you know,excesive playing is damaging the health of a player,he is more tired and sometimes even he not even sleeps o.O

some guys having over 30k score in random battles and some stayed even over half of day. .....

We know that Godmode_on is a rouge fighter who only ever appears in death-matches and if he is killed three gold boxes will drop.

Many people think that he is a Russian admin known as Seryom Kirov, and they would be right saying that as he also has appeared in a V.log. Where he publicized that he would remove all mines from silence for a week, which is a much more efficient way of exploring battle fields, than disconnecting your broadband.

Godmode's mighty paint is his greatest weapon. A paint with protection far beyond what anyone has seen, making the Champion paint look like cheap decoration, it became the signature sign of Godmode. Players immediately tried to figure out its properties. Along with a large protection percentage, the paint defends Godmode from both fire and ice, making the burning and freezing effects of close range weapons useless on him. After some time, the name of the paint was revealed. Devil.

Days passed and many were guessing the percentage of Godmode's paint. "98%", "92%", "88%", "66%"... No one knew for sure.  However I do think that the accurate protection has been calculated, since, at one point, GM appeared in the question of the week "How many smoky shots does it take to kill Godmode?".

So from this we can conclude that the protection is close to 88%. This to me makes sense, as there is a certain symbolic to the number 88. Also, Godmode's user number is 64, which is 8² or 8*8. However, there's still the question of how much the hull and weapons were micro upgraded, so we can never really now for sure. In the end, I think it's highly likely that the protection is 88%, seeing as it has both symbolic to it, and a reference to Godmode (user number 64).

 

As for the tactic you're to use if you encounter this mysterious tank (along with everyone targeting him) I would recommend using mines, as I doubt his paint has protection against those. But there's a problem with this. He changed his paint on April 1st. I suspect he didn't just change the paint for the looks, but to adjust the properties of the paint and add protection against mines as well, as many players used this tactic. He said it himself that it's an improved paint, and we know that paints can have mine protection because of the Masters of Parkour contest (main prize being a 30% protection from mines and railgun). Still, it's worth an attempt to bring down those 3 wonderful gold boxes from the sky, right?
