Hornet+Railgun vs Hornet+Firebird

                                      Good day! :)

 

 

In this topic we will talk about two of the most popular battle formats in tanki online today. The hornet anr railgun and the hornet and firebird battles. The both can reach high battle funds. But which one is the best? Please leave your answer in the comments explaining why. Make sure you keep it in appropriate language ;)

 

 

 

REMINDER: I do not ask for inappropriate language. Any disrespect\insulting\flooding or promoting will force me to report you to the tanki online forum moderators. And this topic is about the battle formats. Not the combos VS eachother.

Well. Its Long Range vs Short Range which is kinda unfair..... but imo XP :wub: (big part of it is cause M1 fire with 11 MUs isnt very powerful at WO5.....)

I like them both a lot. Hornet/wasp+fire battles will create a much higher fund than xp/bp battles though.

This topic is about formats.(Although hornet/wasp+fire isn't an official format yet), not about hornet+rail vs. hornet+fire

I think wasp + fire is more popular than hornet + fire, same thing, nvm. Hornet rail for me is more fun, a LOT more fun. Hornet fire is the place to go for golds and high battle funds.

Xp bp certainly more popular.

 

It takes little skill to do fire wasp.

In addition this is not a very good way to measure as firewasp battles are 40 times harder to create due to lack of format.

You're right. But looking at it's popularity. I'm pretty sure they will make it a battle format very soon :)

New formats/any format are planned. Don't know when and if it will be in TO or TX though.

Fire/wasp/hornet is chill, i can just put on my chill music playlists and watch the gorgeous flames, funds and golds.

You really only need basic strategic thinking, hull handling and good vision (using q and e, and keeping track of sneaky enemies)

xp/bp is intense, accurate shots take alot more skill, and you need to be careful about when you shoot, who you shoot, how you are located on the map and how your enemies are located relative to you etc.

 

I like both depending on my mood, but xp/bp is alot easyer to organize, and they never turn to drugwars :)

Neither is fairewasp battles. I always make sure i turn off the supplies option. I honestly like firewasp battles more than XP/BP. Cause

1- Railgun is annoying in my book

2- It kills me with one shot only -_-

 

So you see. Wasp and fire battles are suitable for some. And XP/BP battles are suitable for most :)

Well you got me on this one, I have spent 70 hours with my FireBird but i couldnt live without it. Now I use my railgun on a higher account and have caught many gold boxes with it. If I had to choose one I would say railgun was the better turret though. Not just because of the gold boxes I've caught with it, because of the experience I have gained using the railgun :)

I think XP/BP is way more fun and better because with firebird, people just crash into one another and hold space. Then they both end up dying. And remember, Tanki is for fun and unique gameplay, not for XP and battle funds.
