[Issue 56] [Contest] Dramatic Gold

Okay I think I'll start off with something sketchy, hmm.... It was just another New Years Eve, and I was just exploring the traditional New Years Map, wondering how much crystals the decorations had cost. As I roamed around with my mult M2 XP combo, I was dreaming about being Santa like any typical 'noob', but more of an Evil Santa - stealing presents instead of giving. I quickly erased my mind of this, as I knew that would never happen, me and my 'noobish' dreams. So I continued battling my way through, and calling everyone a noob like usual. I decided to equip something new, rail didn't really match my skills in the map, so I left and rejoined with my M2 Thunder. Equipped some drugs, and there it was a celestial fireball ascending from the sky. I smashed my drugs, and jumped of the higher zone, only to flip. Enraged, I started calling everyone noob and drugging, unlike the usual, and eventually 1 by 1 everyone left the deathmatch except me and one other. And then it came, the notification, it was on the verge of blowing my heart up, as it pounded with adrenaline. I started thinking, where was it? Who is going to get there first? Me or him? We searched for minutes, and still there was no gold. And as I was thinking my luck could not get any-worse, the battle filled up within seconds, now I was sure I was not going to get it... There it was, sleeping on the floor, a gold pendant. I saw my opponents, rushing in a horde to get it, all throwing their shots at me, I had got destroyed but I barely touched, it. Seeing it fade, I was not sure if it was I that had caught it, but it was. My heart slowly drifted back to sleep, and I continued dreaming of becoming an Evil Santa.

Not dramatic, but still was fun writing it ;) 320 words

This is my DRAMATIC story:

The Lone Gold Hunter

I was WO4 or so, and I was quite a nub back then. But then again I am still a nub. Anyways I was in Rio, and there was 5 tankers. 3 friendlies and 1 foe. This was when the auto-balance timer wasn't in the game. The enemy, I think, didn't want to leave even if he/she was outnumbered. But I have to credit this person with helping me get the gold. Without that person, the gold would have never happened. One of my teammates destroyed the foe and the orange, gold-ish letters come onto the screen, " Gold box will be dropped soon". That was when I thought my heart was going to explode. Well, I would go back to my red team's base and go to the side where the small ramp is and I see it. It's a beautiful symbol, designed to awe and amaze tankers all over the servers. But what was dropped on it would be even more phenomenal. A gold and white box with 1000 crystals waiting to go into your wallet. I stood on it, hoping no one find me or the gold, It came true. It drops, descending slowly, but making its appearance more magical and amazing. I don't touch it.

I have it near me, trying to see who will notice where the gold box is. Finally, all 4 saw it. They race toward me in a desperate way, trying to hope that they can get the gold before I do. When they are are a few feet away, I take it. One tanker tries to harass my tank by trying to troll me. But I take no notice. Most of the tankers were congratulating me and I had now confidence in my ability to get a gold now ( I think and hope). I think this was my first gold ever  or second in tanki.

The End

Btw, can someone tell me what the word count is  and if I have exceeded it? I would be very grateful if you could.

Dramatic Gold Box

After an exhausting day of sports, I return to my beloved computer, log in to Tanki and mult in the lobby. Before I know it, I receive an invite from my friend; " invites you to a battle - Noise CTF. Server RU28. There are places available." I recognised the server - RU28, as being a private server, mainly used for Save The Golds.

I quickly enter and claim the final spot in the battle. I was excited, I could see two Golds dropped in rather awkward positions. One was spawned just above the big tunnel leading up from the Blue base, next to the blue shipping crate. A big Mammoth-Vulcan was glitched inside the Gold, with a Viking-Railgun sitting on him, making it almost impossible to take that Gold. The other Gold was right in the centre of the middle level, surrounded with mines and having a Dictator-Isida glitched inside the Gold. Before the Save the Gold began, I started plotting out my plan to take the Gold. My initial plan was to go for the tricky Gold Box, near the shipping crate. I would take out all the mines on the tunnel to help out my team. I would then work on the other ramps once I took out a decent number of mines on the main ramp.

The STG began with the person who dropped the Gold yelling "GO!!!" The moment we heard that golden word, we activated our Double Armor and Nitro and began taking out mines. Our enemies consisted mainly of Hammers, Vulcans, Railguns, Smokies and an Isida. It was a rather formidable defence. The Gold near the shipping crate didn't seem so difficult at first, until we actually began trying to take it. The moment we exited the tunnel, we were greeted by the cold blast of a Railgun, which easily one shot most. Luckily, I had my Prodigi LGC Module on, so I could withstand at least one shot, until I was sprayed by the shot of a Hammer. After a while, I gave up on going through the tunnel, I had tried to get that Gold Box for what felt like an eternity. People who even managed to ghost their ways into the Gold couldn't take it, as Mammoth was just too damn strong, it was essentially immovable. By the time we even got near the Gold Box, we had barely any health due to the shot we received from Smoky and the Railgun.

I eventually gave up on that Gold and started trying to take the other Gold. It didn't seem like many people went up through the ramp nearest to our Flag, so there was still a huge amount of mines there. Going up the ramp nearest to our Flag, I felt that I could blow up most of them but when I actually reached the top of the ramp, I realised just how many mines were there and the Hammer took most of my health away before I could even reach the mines. Finally, I tried going up the ramp which was coated in a thick layer of mines. The middle layer was a minefield, the Gold was protected by a tonne of mines. I managed to take out about three mines on my first attempt and managed to get close to the Gold but I knew that the Dictator-Isida would be very difficult to push.

Finally, I knew that to take the Gold, I would need to strategise very well. I needed to be patient and stealthy - I had to try to take the Gold before my supplies vanished. I had to time my plan to perfection, in order for this to work. I watched as the weak M2 Hornet-Ricochet tried desperately to outwit the Dictator-Hammer, unsuccessfully. I then headed up the ramp and could see that the Dictator-Hammer was busy, planting a few mines and I decided to jump off the corner of the ramp, hitting a couple of mines, which propelled me into mid-air. The Dictator-Isida decided to go off to heal a weak ally. The Gold was open! All I had to do was navigate myself to dodge the mines - and I did! My plan worked beautifully!

That was cold day in Poland so i turned on my laptop and started playing TO.
I selected map Highland CTF on EN3.
My team was winning 5:2
Then... I heard the siren, before i realized its gold box, i heard next one! They was in the same time!  [heartattack]  I said to myself: "i need take at least one of them!"  I was searching drop location, i found it 5m from me, when i searching good place to gold hunting, i found next one! [heartattack2] Its started falling I had 0% chances to catch it but then one of the hunters exploded and i get on him, i catched th is gold box! [heartattack3] i decided to try catch next one, other players too. One isida lagged and i glitched in him. Unfortunetly drugs effect finished and i was close to death. Im now under gold, everyone shooting to me, one of them died but fire M1 still shooting, 40% of hp... Gold is 1m from me, i took him! [heartattack4] I didnt belive that, im one of the worst gold hunters (1-2 golds per week), i posted screen on forum. In all of that  2k crystalls wasnt the most important thing... The best was swearing russians :D
Good luck to all :)

Okay, I dunno why I'm doing this, but... here is my "dramatic" gold (hehe...)

As the Vulcan Titan slowly drove through Industrial Zone, shooting enemies left and right, a beautiful yet taunting siren rang out in the battlefield. As I looked on in shock at the golden lettering on the screen, memories came flooding back to me, reminding me of all the failures that had resulted in a total of 0 golds taken by my tank, at the rank of Sergeant-Major. The sound of the siren quickened my heart beat, but my hopes were quickly crushed. There was nothing to do. There was no way any Titan M0 could ever take a gold box. But I tried anyways.

I slowly drove towards the middle, attracted to the large number of tankers fighting there, sure that there was going to be a gold symbol there. 20 seconds passed. 30. 40. 50. 60. Where was the gold? Where could it be?

I turned around only to see a Firebird driving towards me, flames shooting out of it. Oh well. I couldn't run or fight back.

As my tank was turned into melted metal and I flew above the battlefield I saw the box in our base. I couldn't believe it. Was this really happening?

As my tank solidified, I drove slowly, unbelieving towards the shining box that would be my first ever gold, happiness flooding me as the golden words appeared on the screen. I had gotten my first ever gold box in the best possible way! Surrounded by nobody!

Then, as you were standing revelling in your moment of glory, a fly-hacker comes and snatches the gold.

My Gold Box Story

Three days after the new year's 2015/2016 sale. Deciding to test out his brand-new, discounted thunder m1/ hunter m1/ corrosion paint combo, a younger version of me enters a Cross DM match that he had always loved.

After 12 minutes and 38 kills (most of them newly upgraded light m1s), he begins to grow bored. Then, he hears the siren go off.

Always that same siren. Always that same rush. Always the same result. Always the same...disappointment. But still, he would always try.

Picking up a double damage box adjacent to a billboard displaying the new year holiday events' arrival, and equipping a double armour from his own stock, he notices a symbol on a corner of the ramp. A large, dotted-line white box with a gold snowflake in the center. His hands slowly begin to shake.

He fires at any and all opponents on the bridges and ramps, protecting the gold. His gold.

After an eternity (or so it felt), he sees the shadow.

He whispers, "This will be my first Gold Box. I hope."

Seconds pass. Hours pass. Rounds pass from the barrel of his gun. Then finally, the gold box that was rightfully his, that he fought for, landed on his turret. A message in that glorious shade of orange flashed across his screen, as if proclaiming that he was worthy of those 1000 crystals.

But he knew that the happiness, the sense of accomplishment, from that single box was worth far more.

TTK_229 has taken the gold box. A sigh of relief leaves his dry, cracked lips.

He let his health bar be destroyed by a twins m1/ viking m1, for his hands are far too shaky to fight. The battle finishes with him in first place, giving a small, insignificant amount of crystals.

Many more gold boxes have been taken by me, but I will always remember this one as my first gold box.

Dramatic Gold

It’s said “You’ll always remember your first time”. Now, I’m a believer. It’s as though it just happened.

I’ll tell you all the juicy details, if I can wipe the smile off of my face.

Polygon, yeah that’s it. Who’d have though that the Tanki-Online “Moshe Pit” could incite such intense feelings? I enter the fray as cocky as I can be, with my Mammoth hull and untiring Twins blazing a path of destruction and chaos as I go.

I start off slowly, not knowing Polygons interior or the subtleties of the battle layout. I get some good licks in before being slapped down and respawning. “I want more!” leaps from my tongue as I awkwardly crash into the pit; I respawn again. Now in a frenzy I’m firing at anyone who crosses in front of me, friend or foe, I can’t tell the difference anymore. I’m caught up in a whirlwind of emotions. I become exhausted going up and down the ramps to the blue flag then going up and down the ramps into the pit then going up and down the ramp to nowhere near the bridge. Up and down … up and down … up and down, this wasn’t helping!

I need to calm down, catch my breath and conceive a plan. I look for resource boxes but I’m too slow to catch any. Even my own blue team members won’t let me have any. I am seeing red! I think about going up the tall, large ramp but I’m afraid it’s too much for me. Everyone will laugh at me for being soooo slow and such an easy target. The smaller ramp behind the red flag has some cover and wait … there’s a double damage box dropping. I can make it … I can make it … I can make it … I can make it … I made it. The red box is mine. Now I’m half way up the concrete bunker with a view of all my targets. They’re mine for the plucking.

I start firing my gun. I hit one tank then another but wait, what’s going on, something isn’t right. Tanks are climbing the tall ramp; it looks like rats abandoning a sinking ship. Some are falling off the edge and some are jumping. Suddenly I see it out of the corner of the screen on top of the small building next to the ledge; a large brightly lit … something. There’s a tank covering most of it so I don’t know what it is. Luckily someone shoots that tank and in a few seconds I see the loveliest looking gold and white diamond that I have ever seen. I just stared in amazement, admiring the beauty, paralyzed to act.

There are more “rats” coming! I shoot another tank. I snap out of it just in time to gun it and go full speed ahead onto the roof, “Here I come!” … well, almost. Most of the tank makes it onto the roof; the right tread was hanging over the edge of the building. It appears I had premature acceleration.

Now tanks are trying to push me off the roof but I’m wedged in fairly tight. Tanks are falling on me from above like rain but at the angle I’m at they would hit then slide off or flip over crashing onto the ground. As that beautiful, little gold box gently comes down from the heavens, every inch by agonizing inch my heart and breathing stop as I say a prayer to any and every deity who would listen, hoping that another tank wouldn’t steal “‘MY” box and then “YES, YES, YES”! It was just the two of us. Oh, eh, I mean, I got the 1000 Crystals.

My 'luckyist' and most epic gold ever. Ever.

It had been a long day. It was stormy and raining outside. I'd been playing Tanki with a few online friends for about an hour. We had just entered a Factory CTF. A map I rarely play. The battle had been raging as we did our best to win the ferocious battle...just one more capture and we would win with two minutes left on the clock! Then suddenly.....that magic golden siren appeared on top of the screen. I was wearing my wasp and hammer m1. Definitely not the best combo against druggin' twins and titans. As I raced past the bottom pillar, I saw it. There must have been at least 5 tankers climbing over each other on the top platform. I raced up there and dived into the sweltering fray. To my utter dismay, there were two titans sitting right under on that narrow ledge. There was no way I could get there on time! But somehow, as the gold fell down, both of those mighty dinosaurs were slaughtered, leaving us light hulls left. I was just mere meters away from the drop zone...but then, to my utter dismay one of those  gold-magnet dictators was sitting right under it, about to catch it! Ka-boom baam went the thunder outside as time seemed to slow down dramatically. HE GLITCHED! was the delighted thought in my head 2 seconds later. The golden money had gone right through that evil man's hull and was about to land on the platform. Now was my chance. I had long given up hope, but a flame was now lighted in my beating heart. It was just me and a twins-hornet side side by side as we shoved our way in. Nooooo went my panicking brain as I nearly fell of the edge!! In the meanwhile though, that near miss saved my life as the burning fire ripped through the center of my opponent, Evil Mr. Twins. The gold was now millimeters from being caught. A well aimed shot, a crash of thunder, and the Viking-Bird lay dead at my feet. I raced through the gold, exalting in my lucky, yet well-earned crystals.

About 400 words, and yes its completely true!

Dramatic Gold by Wolfie (me)!

It was around 1 PM by my time, the school classes just ended and the ''School Gamers'' team went to the School's PC Room. I was bored after playing for 30 minutes in the Polygon CP XP/BP battle. While capturing the point, I was staying on one of the ramps with my Wasp M3 and one guy found the right way to flip me in the tunnel. I raged! I was about to leave, when saw the siren ''Gold box will be dropped soon''. I shouted ''GOLD BOX'' and turned on the recorder. My friend Kristian jumped and told: ''Go Boris, you can take it!'' I fastly respawned near the 2 houses in the middle and turned backwards to search for the drop zone. My heart was beating so fast such as everytime when I hear the siren. I was near the drop zone of the Repair Kit when decided to press ''Page Down'' and look around the sky for the parachute with the 1000 crystals award box. It beacme to drop! My friend told: ''There! Go there and get it!''. I pressed the Arrow Key, with the feeling that I am far away and my chances are really small as the enemy team could flip me easily as they were doing while the whole game. While driving near the ''A'' point, a guy came from the tunnel and stand in front of my tank. Decided to shoot him with the hope that the lag may come and I will drive at the top of all... And here we go: Shooting wrong, my tank turns on 90 degrees, and sweeping on the ground under the drop zone. In this moment, an incoming teammate and enemy tank from my backwards shoots me and my tank flips again on 90 degrees but this time with tracks upper to the gold. Invisible to the naked eye, my Wasp touches the gold and then I see: ''wolfenstein007 has taken the gold box''. That feeling cannot be explained with words!

Thanks for reading guys! If you like that story, give an upvote and tell me if I have a chance to become a Tanki Online Newspaper Helper after sending application! Good luck to all participants! :D

Ahh, my entry, well:

                                                                 Dramatic Gold: Penny the Trickstar

                                                     Silence CTF Clan Training Goldie

Oh well, I think the subtitle explained pretty well. T'was a clan training, I had held it - non format XP/BP CTF Silence. Earlier, with lack of members, one member was completing his mission there, but we managed to gather members. We started, and it was getting pretty fun. The M3 Wasp on the enemy team was getting annoying, but we managed to score 6-6 with both teams (Star_Lord_Tinkou and Pak_Warrior versus me and sre123) before we all saw and heard the orange words denoting the appearance of a gold box - one thousand crystals falling from the sky.

I, normally disliking gold boxes, got a bit annoyed, but also got pretty excited. I ordered a temporary stop on the battle - no flag capture, yes kills, and hunt the spot. And anyone could take. We were all looking and then someone who I believe to be sre123, found the zone near the ramp and the high camp place in Red base.

There was already traffic at the zone - my three clanmates, and I was too late to get up the camp zone, and I couldn't risk it at all. We were together at the zone. Star was about to take but failed to, for reasons I may never be able to remember, and I was about to say congratulations when I realized I myself had taken the gold. I was like, "Whaaat??!!" - very surprised by the gold, having never expected it.

Star grabbed the flag, I got killed, but a stop was ordered. We restarted, fighting for the flag, and blue won. Oh well, is that even needed?!

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Count of words: Not needed, just take it as less than 700 ;)

Good luck to the rest!

Dramatic and spooky goldbox story

I was playing in the Halloween (2015) map with my friend, the map was full of creepiness and spookiness. In the middle of the map there were some gravestones that gave the map an even more hair-raising look. The map theme was night and it was night time in reality as well. Despite being a nyctophobic, I was still playing and trying to control my fear. I was using my beloved railgun and hunter. My brand new M2 railgun was shredding the enemies apart.
While camping I saw a double damage box dropping and quickly rushed to catch it. Upon catching a double damage box I pressed 2 and activated double armor. Now my tank was fully pumped up, I was returning back to my camping spot, but in the middle of my journey to my camping spot, I got assassinated by a shaft and when I re-spawned, suddenly, I heard an eldritch siren, the siren was to indicate that gold-box is dropping, my eyes hurried to confirm if gold-box is actually dropping and its not a false perception of sound. Just when I confirmed it. I automatically started Hyperventilating and my breaths were audible. I pressed 3 to activate the double armor and 4 to activate speed boost and went to seek for the gold-box drop zone. Swiftly Drifting through the hollowness I found the drop zone, it was  in the middle of the map, near the graves. I was pressing the upper arrow key with my index finger applying all the force I could, I thought this way my tank will move with full throttle. The collective of Other tankers also found the drop zone and gathered around the drop zone. Now we all could see a parachute tied with a golden box was dropping, a fortress M2 mammoth with M2 Vulcan was standing right below the gold-box, this increased my tension and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach, everyone started to shoot at that mammoth and the poor soul was slaughtered in a mere 2 seconds, a viking with hammer entered in the chaos and now was beneath the gold-box. The only thing standing between the gold box and I was a viking-hammer, my friend was pushing me form back with his hornet, I was shooting viking-hammer with my railgun, It was at this moment when the nub viking+hammer made a mistake by shooting me. Just when he shot, the front side of my tank got up, my tank was in an acute position on his tank, a dictator-railgun shot me. I pressed the front arrow key to climb on the viking-hammer, I was on him, the gold-box was just 1.50-2 seconds away from me but those 1.50-2 seconds seemed like an eon. My health was low, I pressed one to use repair kit, The viking below me was still alive, a wasp-twins was rapidly shooting (he was probably using a brick) me from front. Some other nugs were also ceaselessly shooting me trying to expunge me. My tank was below the gold-box. My hands were all numb. I was trembling. The wasp-twins got killed by someone. It was my gold for sure andddd there we go, gold-box touched my tank and I saw the notification General_h_a_m_z_a_9 has taken the gold-box.

A Dramatic Gold

in Polygon

I was running around healing people with my Isida M2 and Hornet M3. I wore Emerald, the golden paint of that time. Back then, I was a mere Lieutenant General. I couldn't keep my Isida beam held on to people if they were doing circles nor I could land a jump. As said, I was roaming around in a Polygon CP, healing anyone I saw in my path. I went to the top, then to the so-called Island, then back again. I would keep Vulcans and Twins firing forever. Sometimes, I would go heal a Shaft that was providing good fire support.

Suddenly, it happened. The deafening siren rang as many tankers went straight for holes and outlets of the map in order to self-destruct. I, for one, stayed at the top. I was full-health and all of my supplies had already been cooled down. I pushed the 'P' button and awaited the passing of 5 seconds. Once those terribly shaky and hour-like 5 seconds passed, I went full-supplies mode and began my search for the golden mark. My adrenaline was sky-rocketting; my hands became sweaty and and were shivering to so much extent, I couldn't even control my tank. I looked on the bridge, then went back to the middle. After searching through the middle, I drove around the corners of the map. After searching and searching, I went to the middle once again. I couldn't find it, the lag was taking over. Tanks suddenly flew out of positions and got back to their original places again, their turrets kept rotating and quite weirdly, were firing continuously, as if someone has coded a no-reload hack. Tanks were leaning over walls on the edge of the map while still connected to the point. I looked down at the bottom-right of my screen. 999 PING. I raged like never before and was about to smack down on my keyboard when somehow, someway it cleared off. Tanks went supersonic. Plasma balls flew everywhere. It was a lag spike.

We could see some people gathered around on the Island; so the place became my destination. I drove ahead. By now, I could see the Gold dropping far away on the Island. At this time, I was driving around in the middle, surrounded by tanks double my size. I began to drive as fast as I could and two seconds later, I reached the ramp. My tank was being constantly pushed from all sides when all of a sudden I was pushed down by a fat Mammoth. The Gold box had already reached the halfway mark.  There were drugging Titans and everlasting Vikings. One in particular, was a tanker with Hammer M3, Dictator M3 and Zeus that was still behind me.

People started firing upon each other. Each side delivered their best. I could see Smoky's criticals popping up every now and then. The Gold was nearly close to the ground where a Ricohet-Mammoth was sitting right underneath. As a last stand, I reversed and drove ahead in full speed. I hit the ramp as fast as I could in hopes of getting onto someone when abruptly, I hit a mine. I went flying into the air. Then I saw two Hammer shots directed towards my tank. I was spinning so fast, my camera angle couldn't keep up. I was taken away, my heart pounding, fingers full of sweat. I went flying over the wall and into one of tanks on the other side. There was so much dust and smoke, I couldn't see nothing as if my vision had been completely impaired.

I landed into the self-destruct zone on the other side. I was so shaky, I didn't even care to see at the top of my screen nor at my crystal count so that I can verify my Gold. Did I pass through the Gold box? Was it really mine? Did I miss it by inches? Did I... Was I not careful enough to take a picture? All sorts of questions were rattling my head.

I respawned three seconds later and looked above right away. There were the golden words:

DestroyerPdox has taken the gold box

Words: 699

u will win more than one contest...

A gold dropping in massacre. I panicked, someone was shooting me I drugged at the last moment. Whew I didn’t get killed but i drugged the armor and speed box and when the gold was dropping on the slope beside the sign. The gold was dropping and I got a good running start and boom I flew and caught the gold without hacks. Apparently someone shot me when I was in mid air and I did a barrel roll and still caught it with the tip of my hull. Someone said I used hacks to catch it because it was that good.

Twas a long time ago in a little, well, actually quite big town called Rio. My Hornet m3 Shaft m3 gleamed like a diamond in the blinding sun whilst I sniped, defended our bright blue flag, and bragged about my beautiful Traceur paint. The match was tied 8 to 8 and with 3 minutes left out of the hour battle I was getting bored camping behind palm trees. I revved my engine and grabbed the nitro that drops right in front of my sniping position. A little wasp hammer was zooming towards the double damage that I had intended to grab so I screeched to a halt as my main weapon control panel lit up. It was an easy shot. In seconds, my scope was right in the dead center of the tiny wasp m3 and my weapon was fully charged. I released the spacebar, demolishing the poor wasp. My engines roared to life as I proceeded picking up the double damage and smashing into the wasp's demolished tank before it vanished.

Suddenly, a small orange blur appeared that the top of my screen, or it may have been there for a little bit before that. Not that I noticed of course, it was only until the chat had filled up with "NO KILL PLS," "WERE IS GOLD?????????????," and "HALP ME GET GOLD PLS" that I had realized that the gold was dropping. And at that point, it was much too late. I had already vaporized the enemy defense, picked up the enemy flag, and started working my way to the top of the building. My treads grazed the bright gold symbol beneath my tank. "Oh wow," I thought, "Its going to drop right here." Foolishly, I typed "The gold is up on top of the building" in the chat. Quickly, realizing my mistake, I told my team that I was lying to get the enemy to confused and that the gold box wasn't actually up top. The enemy quickly made their way up to the top of the  building, but not before I picked off a few wasp m1s with my powerful arcade shots. By then there was only 60 seconds left on the clock and the gold box was a few meters above my tank. My engine  growled to life as I zoomed forward to meet the incoming mass of tanks. I flipped a viking thunder, and then rushed backwards to catch the gold. My own team, wondering about the mass of tanks was driving up behind pile of enemies as I watched in awe, frozen in place, viewing the beautiful mess I had created.

Unfortunately, the flipped viking that had been blocking the path had self destructed and an angry jealous stream of enemies put pedal to the metal seething in anger and disgust. My nitro had run out, so I slowly back pedaled towards my team's base. As the enemies gained on me, my team appeared from behind them, unleashing a stream of napalm, bullets and freezer fluid. I jumped off the edge of the building and my brain went into slowmo as I fell. Flaming enemies exploded arround me. The rain of exploding tanks almost blinded me. It was almost as if Micheal Bay hacked the Tanki source code just for those few precious seconds as my team annihilated enemies. With almost no health left, I dragged myself towards the flag, my engines straining under the weight of the many tank corpses above and around me. I looked down to the corner of my screen
