Windows 10

Recommended Posts

There is nothing wrong about changing the Windows 10 operating system. Like I said before, I have posted a forum on the Tanki Online that discusses the complaints I have about Windows 10 and its features. My goal here is to get my opinions and suggestions about Windows 10 heard worldwide.

I am trying to engage and pull people towards me and persuade them to complain at Microsoft about the mistakes they are currently doing in the development of the Windows 10 operating system.

I expect people worldwide to join me and to ask Microsoft to develop Windows 10 like Windows 7 was developed. That will make Windows 10 a lot easier to use and much better looking too. Microsoft Windows 10 must remain like Windows 7 did back then, plus, of course, adding more features and software applications that are bundled with the Windows 10 operating system so that people can do more things as well. Windows 10 does not need to be overpowered with useless features but with just the right and useful features for getting everyday work done easily and accurately.

I suggest that Microsoft release Windows 10 in 5 or more years time so that it is 100% perfect and finished.

If Microsoft released Windows 10 it does not mean that it is finished. Microsoft said that are continuing to add, remove and move features that people are complaining about, until Microsoft finds the perfect balance and fit for Windows 10.

It looks like other people as well as me wants Windows 10 to be like Windows 7 and I agree.

Yes. I will only use Windows 10 if Microsoft clearly listens to me and makes the changes to Windows 10 as I have asked for.

Totally speechless.

So a question to those who upgraded from Windows 8 to 10, do you regret it? Or is it worth doing?

It is not worth upgrading from Windows 8 or Windows 10 - Keep the wonderful Windows 7 operating system on your computer. Windows 7 does everything you need to do with it.

Please understand that I am not the only person who is complaining about Windows 10 features. Other people are also complaining as well.

Well, in my point of view, Windows XP and Windows 7 are the best 2 modern operating systems out there. Windows XP and Windows 7 are extremely easy to use. They are both organized in the most perfect way.

Without support. Hhhh

The support for Windows XP has ended on the 8th April 2014 - respectively. You can download Norton or McAfee anti-viruses to continue protecting your Windows XP operating system installation.

The support for Windows Vista and Windows 7 is still under full support from Microsoft.

There is nothing wrong with anti-viruses like Avira or AVG. It is a personal choice, but I would suggest Norton or McAfee because they give more, better accurate level of general protection from viruses, Trojan horses and worms.

I am not sure if Windows 10 comes with an anti-virus anymore. Microsoft has mentioned that Windows Defender was removed in Windows 10 and replaced with Microsoft Security Essentials.

Norton slows my computer down, so it's not really viable for those with mid-end and low-end computers. If one owns a good rig and can handle it, then I'd say go for it.

I do understand that Norton or McAfee can slow down your computer.

For best performances, you can run Norton or McAfee on a super fast desktop PC. That will help a lot.

Good.

Does Windows 10 come with optional components like in Windows 7?

Please tell me if the Windows 10 themes are fully compatible with Windows 7 themespacks. Also Windows 7 themes must also be fully compatible with Windows 10 themespacks.

When you save themes for sharing in Windows 7 the file type for theme files are .themepack - package.

When saving themes for sharing on other computers in Windows 10 the files type is .deskthemepack - package.

Download themes from Microsoft here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/themes?ocid=w8_client_themes

Enjoy your new themes.

Well i installed windows 10 from windows 7 myself few days ago and here is my opinion about it...

GET IT! There is literally no reason to not upgrade to 10. Even if you want to stick to the winodws 7 look and feel (which I wouldn't because i am really bored of it) , you CAN do that (well a quite a bit, if not completely). You can install an application to change the start menu to what it was in 7, you don't need any costly antivirus program because the built in windows defender is descent and get regular updates, you can manually download and use windows 7 like wallpapers if you want to.

Also all the issues with windows 10 are also getting fixed. In the upcoming 29th july update, they are gonna fix and get rid of various problems, especially common bugs and wifi sense. They are also gonna allow us to use a few extensions for edge like adblock (finnaly) and much more. The windows store is finally improved and now it utilises my full internet speed (unlike windows 8). Also not to mention the UI of windows 10. It's really neat, simple and responsive.

Finally, there is really no point of sticking with an abandoned OS which is never gonna get updated. 7 is past, 10 is present. Get over it. No need to wait for 5 years to get windows 10 (lolol), just get it now when its free (till 29th july, this one).

PS. You can also destroy windows 10 spying if you want to, look it up.

PSS. Norton itself is a virus :P

Ehm, you are missing the "point" of this topic:

Well. I will only buy Windows 10 in the future if it works, operates and looks like I want it to be like. Otherwise I will only use Windows 7.

Yes. I will only use Windows 10 if Microsoft clearly listens to me and makes the changes to Windows 10 as I have asked for.
