E-mail linked to account isn't working?

Hello.

 

Today I logged into the game using , and when I closed the 'Daily Missions' box, another box popped up that was telling me to link my account to a valid e-mail and I will get some crystals. My account is already logged in with a valid - my own e-mail. However, when I put my e-mail into the space, it said e-mail not unique. This is because I already used the e-mail on this account. Next, I thought someone is hacking my account so I went into Settings and clicked on Change password. It said 'Instructions have been sent to my e-mail'. This means that an e-mail is already attached to my account. However, when I went to my e-mail, I didn't receive any new e-mail (I checked all the folders two times). 

 

I immediately sent an e-mail to Help Support with all the proof that this is my account and my e-mail. Is this because of the new glitch or downtime that happened yesterday? I have been playing for 30m now and I didn't get any 'Server connection closed' errors so I guess no one is hacking me, it's just a database glitch. More details? Umm... Yesterday it was perfectly fine, no errors, completely normal. It happened for the first time and it happened after yesterdays downtime. 

 

Also, I didn't get back my Pro pass but that is a completely different thing. I don't wanna let my crystals go to waste so this better be fixable. 


 

I clicked 'Change password'  two times and it said 'Instructions have been sent to my e-mail'. They could've been sent to another persons e-mail! There is a huge risk here. So, if I go completely profane on the chat or get banned, this is the proof okay?

After some time, the mail that has been sent to change your password, doesn't work anymore.

You mean that after some time every player needs to "renew" linking to a valid email? Something like, limited duration of link up?

 

Or that sent email from the system is just out-dated?

If you Emailed Helpdesk, why create a topic? If you get hacked and get banned due to that, when you recover your account the ban will be lifted anyways. Besides, the forum users can't help with such issues, only Helpdesk can, so you were right to contact them. Good luck :)
