 Im posting this suggestion because most of the time when I get a premium account I don't want to use it right away or I don't have time to use it so the premium account gets wasted.

What you do to avoid this is, don't claim the mission the second you get it. wait until maybe your parents are gone for an extended amount of time and then use it.

First of all this will make Premium accounts a lot more expensive. If you are able to pause the premium whenever you want, it means that 100% of your premium time will be used for playing. So right now when paying for 30 days of premium, an average person might play 2-3 hours a day, meaning that they will use only about 10% of their potential Premium time. That means that if your idea was to be implemented, then the prices would be changed so that you would get only 3 days of premium for 10 euros instead of 30. And people would never buy that because it seems like a terrible deal.

 

Second - this system can be easily abused. All you need to do is activate the premium 5 seconds before a game end and you still get double crystals for it, even if premium was off the whole time. Similarly, if you want to use the paint you can just activate premium, enter battle, turn off premium and still use the paint until the game ends.

Ok first of all we deserve that 100% premium time. We paid for it and we earned it in missions so we deserve all of it, stop cheating us out of our money. And second, I suggested that you put a feature so that your premium account runs when you log into tanki and it pauses when you log off. So this would nullify your statement about it being abused.

I know what you mean and I explained why it can't happen. Too many people will abuse it by turning on premium seconds before their game ends. That way they can get double crystal rewards and turn off Premium right away. So in the 3 hours of Premium they have from a single mission they can get basically infinite double crystals from battle rewards if they activate Premium only for a few seconds when the game ends.

I do not think that the on and off Premium Account button is a problem because, recently, the prices of paints have gone up since the Paint Separation Update.

 

For example, the Zeus Paint used to cost 250,000 crystals and now it is 500,000 crystals. Double the price. Africa paint is now 400,000 crystals rather than 300,000 crystals.

 

This price inflation sky rocketed and it makes it virtually impossible for players to buy turrets, hulls and especially paints and protection modules.

 

The price inflation of paints is also breaking apart the game's balance. Before the Paint Separation update, every price of turrets, hulls and paints were perfectly balanced.

 

If players, for example, buy the biggest crystal pack available, it is not even enough to buy the Zeus paint.

 

What I am saying here is that the prices of every paint you buy including micro upgrades are ridiculously high. So the on and off Premium account button will benefit players so that they earn double the amount of crystals. Earning double the amount of crystals is beneficial to re-balance the Tanki Online economy and to make it once again possible for players to buy paints and micro upgrade them.

 

In my point of view, paint separation and modules update is useless because the modules does not give players more protection and players cannot manually add of remove paint protections from those modules.

I totally agree with you. The paint prices have gone way up and they are totally messing up the kit system.

I am asking this for a reason, because if funds must be permanently double, as you suggest. Are you aware that permanent raising of fund by 100% will affect the whole economy of this game and not just the prices of the paints?

The funds aren't permanently doubled. It's only when you have a premium account

Here's the issue. 

 

It would:

 

Kill the game economy- because the 30 days of premium is suppose to expire so you buy more (hence why its called premium)

 

Cause more issues bugs wise as I would suspect it would take a lot of re-engineering the backend (database part) of tanki to do this, and releasing it would need to suspend all premium accounts to do the update- without preventing damage.

Yes we deserve our full premium time since we paid for it and we earned it in missions so we deserve 100% of it. Tanki is just greedy for money. That's why they don't want to add a feature to pause it so we can have 100% of it.
