XP/BP Paints

Recommended Posts

Earlier, M2 Hornet required Specific paints to be played in Formatted Battles... Sandstone is one of them.

Now that Sandstone is cheaper and if I buy it, Will I be able to play in XP Format Battles?

                                                            Help me please!!

You are right, let me explain it further. Now paints are just for looks, they will not give you any protection. You will have to buy Protection modules.

As you can see for yourself on the picture above, there is nothing listed (No Protection). Go to Garage, and press "Protection". You have to buy one of those to help you protect your tank.

"You can further personalize your tank using a wide variety of paints: there are common paints and rare, unique paints that are used by representatives of the game’s administration, tournament winners, and other players who have gained special recognition for their contributions to the project.

Modules are special elements that can be equipped on your tank, designed to protect it from the enemy weapons. Visually, modules do not appear on the tank nor show any effect, however, if you press and hold the R key while in battle, you can see which modules and what protections are used by other players that are in the battle with you."

In addition to the above, I'd like to point out that to participate in XP/BP battles you no longer need any module or paint at all, because the game automatically gives you the required protection when you enter a battle, regardless of what hull you are using.

For example, if you enter with Hornet M2, you automatically get 20% protection even if you don't have any modules in your garage, while if you enter with Hornet M3, you get 0% protection even if you had a Railgun protection module equipped when you entered.
