For your first, nothing's perfect, every program/game is expected to have some glitches, but Tanki right now doesn't have any mishaps that are too bad.

 

For your second, again, it's to be expected, no game is going to be 100% satisfactory to every single player, and this game is over 7 years old, it's 2016 now, it's made many changes, but it's still Tanki, again, it's how life works.

how can you say there minor glitches in this game.. i have played for 3 years and have dealt with the same issues we all have complained about for years .. most have stopped complaining due to nothing is getting done about it.. they claim there working on it and we have heard all of this for years.. most like myself have just gotten so use to them that we gave up on complaining cause we no that we would be told the same old story..

 

every time tanki finds some new upgrade to do we all get hit with lag or other issues... i'm sort of finding tanki has given up on fixing them due to tanki x is on the door step and what will be happening is there closing tanki and concentrating only on tanki x now...and tanki wonders why players are complaining or given up on the game.. i stopped playing for the last week ( but still in forum ) not sure if i will be returning I'm starting to give up on the whole game... we even get issues in the forum still not resolved since the virus hit..

I rarely have problems with this game, I rarely lag, I rarely have connection issues, those are like extinct for me, and they are for many others. It's mainly about putting your part of trying to solve the problem for lag, like for example, many players complain about FPS lag, and they have weak computers, it's not Tanki's fault that they lag, it's the player's fault for not having a strong enough computer. 

 

Same with internet lag, some players have really weak internet, and they blame Tanki for their lag problems, it's just not fair. Now there are players who do have good internet but still deal with lag, because servers might be too far from them, I can understand that, and I applaud those players for making sure they have done the best of their ability to try to solve a problem, that is like the only thing that you can "blame" devs for, if you will. 

 

But yeah, some players who are having issues with the game blame the devs without taking into consideration that their equipment is not strong enough for the game, it happens quite often, it's just being ignorant.

 

My ideal scenario if someone's having a problem with the game, ask a help site consultant, search for a topic that matches your issue in the forum and if you can't find one, create a new topic in problems and solutions section, PM the Tanki FB page, there are many things that players should do before getting to the conclusion of "Tanki is the problem" while in reality "My computer is the problem" again, that's what some parts of the staff are here for, to help others with these kinds of issues, Cedric is doing a fine job with staying close to the community, and being a messenger between players and devs.

 

To get to conclusion, if you've got a problem you're experiencing in the game, forum, etc, make sure your equipment is all good and working well, then if you still can't solve your problem, search it up on either the help site or the forum, still can't find the solution? Create a new question on the help site, Create a new topic in problems&solutions, or PM Tanki's FB Page, one way or the other, getting your problem solved is quite possible.

for one my computer and inter net connections have been checked so many times and i have used the help section along with tanki on line .. they even did a link check many a times and both ends have been great so i know for a fact it is and has been issues with in the game it self and nothing else.. i understand for others they  might have issues ..i do a check about every day to every other day..

my older son made my computer from new parts so my system is a gamer's set up beyond store bought..and he ( my son ) checks it every week for me to make sure my links and fps and lag is good..

 

i do go on other game sites and never had any issues with them ....

I played another game, and used bots to gain game values fast. I've stopped playing for a while, and when came back, I was about to install my bot again, but when I was searching on the web I've found the game violation mod's monthly review with something like this: Using hacks, bots: 12.634 account REMOVED. Paused downloading  :P

look i can't speak for him .. but i do know that there has been a lot of things going on behind the scenes ,i have been told by other mods .. and he might have had to close it due to a surplus of entry's and his limited time to search threw them .. you guys have to understand he has a life out side of the company with a family ..so he do's need and want time off ... we as players come and go as we please ... this is a job to bring in money  for him ..

Do you have any proof that NOW OPEN — Cedric's "Virtual Office" was closed due to, as you say fake reasons?

Let me give you some things to think about.

 

I am a programmer and ran an IT department (now retired since December). Do you think if there was something wrong with MY computer on my desk that I would let it sit there for weeks? I ran the operation from that computer, all emails, quotes, reports, form data, legislative data and data for the governor. He is the boss - can he not get his stuff working? What kind of boss would that make him if he can't? Now I only what happens in the USA but I can assure you if my techs didn't fix my computer IMMEDIATLY I would start firing people. Could he not get his ability to post quotes working in less than a week or two? 

 

Ok maybe he was busy. I am certain he was. But why give the players some lame excuse just come out and tell us I am busy and will shut down the virtual office for a couple of weeks? No one would care.

 

This is whole issue - there is no communication between them and us. We don't know anything. In the USA stores would be shouting from the rooftops "we will be running a sale next month." Or we are coming out with new paint scheme or whatever. Tell us what is going on, don't come up with lame excuses.

ok for one due to company privacy they don't have to give out info on sales or any thing going on with in the company.. i live in Canada and you have to understand other parts of the world run different ..they have rules which have not caught up to the parts of the world on privacy or other issues .. each company is run different ... not all company's will release when sales happen .. just look at old Navy this week they have 60% off on clothes i had no clue about it unless i get emails from the company and they post to outstanding customers ahead of sales ..other then that if your not on there email list you would not know about it...just using it for example..

 

now if you did read from page one to the last page you can see a number of postings are the same or close to the same info ..if i'am right he closed it around the same time the virus hit the system so his time was taken up with sorting out that issue... along with other things... now for issues on the computer that you would need to talk to tech services on what / why his system has issues and due to privacy act you wont be getting any answers for it.. just a bunch of run around ...

But, @Cedric Debono is not a programmer. And he never said that he is having issues with a computer, but with the Forum.

 

Besides, he is only employee of AlternativaPlatform in Malta. And he communicates with the team in Russia via Skype.

 

Still...I do not see any evidence. Just speculation.

Probably Yele was watching that guy's playing style, and after few moments she found that he is just a normal player who is trying to help his team although the weakness of his skills, so it is impossible to punish this kind of players [Newbies :ph34r:]

And no, I have never been untruthful with the community. I might have unwittingly handed out incorrect information through no fault of my own, simply because things changed at the last minute. But I would not disrespect the community by being intentionally untruthful.

There will always be someone that will want to sabotage something for someone else, again, it's how life is, not everyone is going to follow the laws, otherwise if everyone did, jails wouldn't exist.

Sure, there are always people who want to break rules. If there were only a very frw number of mults around, fine ok, I would say you are right, but when the devs arent capable of dealing with them, when they are running loose and their numbers are increasing day by day, You are not right in the slightest.

Sure, jails exist but tanki's jails and authorities are just so weak they arent in sight.

 

Dev 1: "Guys we have mults ruining our project"

Dev 2: "who cares, they are not ingame bugs, they are people who love to break rules, what could we do about them? Just drink your vodka mate"

 

That I wrote above, is how it'd be if you are right, you just cant justify mults with "they are not ingame problems", they ARE in the game, and therefore they are ingame problems

Okay well this happened to me too.

So me and me friends were gonna do an STG, but someone accidentally invited this other dude. When we told him it was an STG, he was really eager to make us drop the gold fast. When i told him to calm down he started cursing at us. I didn't trust him but he was like i swear i wont take it and so we decided to give him the benefit of doubt. Well Guess what? The noob takes the gold and leaves before we can report him. His nickname is kiler_pro777. If tanki could plz do something about this i would be really thankful as we now have 0 golds and we cant do STG, our mines got wasted and everything.

BTW my intelligence level is NOT low. I would bet I have managed much larger organizations than you and I have an appreciation of the difficulty managers have controlling their people.

Thanks for the response. I am not certain of your grasp of the English language but words have meaning whether in English or any other language. I don't know how anyone could take your words, as you said them, to mean anything else. I wish you the best in your endeavor to help the mods make Tanki better with less cheaters and mults. You certainly have a big job on your hands.
