Out of curiosity, I was reading the requirements to become an eSports Official. Why do they need to know the applicant's personal information, such as real name and surname, city and state of residence, and interests?

You really didn't ever read about helper positions requirements?

Except for Newspaper reporter, they all require such sensitive information. I wonder why, too.

Maybe because of 'reasons'.

Mostly because of safety reasons, it's always a good idea to have backup information about the person you're bestowing great power to, other than that, I don't think it actually plays a role model in the judging process itself.

I just installed Standalone flash player but can't find a way to open it. There is no desktop shortcut for it and when I search flash player it doesn't appear. It's in list of programs tho.

Hey Musa,

If you would like to play Tanki Online on the Standalone Flash Player, I would really recommend following a guide posted on the Help site. It goes through everything you need to know about playing on Flash Player, as well as how one can set it up. Let me know if it's any help to you. ^_^

Sequence of actions:

  • Launch it.
I'm asking how to launch it?
Looks like you installed the wrong version. The real Standalone does not need to be installed, it just works buy double clicking the download file.

Where did you download yours from?

Hey Musa,

I apologize for not understanding your question. It appears, as @Ninja rightfully pointed out, you are using the wrong version. To download the latest, up-to-date version, please see the link below.

Once you have downloaded it (or updated it to the latest version), you should be able to open the Flash Player (as shown in an example below). The rest steps can be followed using the Help Site guide. I hope this was more useful than my previous post. :P

Let me give you a definite answer instead of the generic ones.

You downloaded Flash player, not Standalone Flash player.

Just search for Standalone Flash player on google, solved. Or follow the wiki links. :D

From wiki, Entering the game, Windows version. And Hexed updated that link today, so it's probably latest version.

Downloaded from this link too, but it's exactly same.

When I double click on download file, it opens this:

Hey Musa,

It should download the Flash Player (just like you showed). Once that is done, simply search "Flash Player" (should be in your Download folder by default).

Hey,

Could you please see the folder the set-up was installed on? See folders such as Desktop, Documents and any other places it may have been placed.

If all the above fails, you can save the following to your Desktop:

  • Flash Player — Mega Download Link ("Click Here")

I searched on those places, it isn't there.

Downloaded from this mega link and it works. I can open and play tanki... but it's old version.

Hey Musa,

Could you please elaborate on that; what seems to be the old version?

  • Is your Flash Player version 20? ("Click Here")

  • Step 1: Open Flash Player ("See Here")
  • Step 2: Click File ("See Here")
  • Step 3: Click Open ("See Here")
  • Step 4: Paste Link — Given in a spoiler
  • Step 5: Click Ok

Your screen should now load after a few seconds.

    Example: Click Here

You keep downloading the plug-in Flash player, and not Standalone Flash player.
