Facing the hard truth : Coping with Mults, Sabotage and Cheaters

M0 guys in battle trying to flip me

Luckily I can easily push them, but half my team in a usual Poly CP min rank Third lt is sporting at least 1 M0

Sometimes even a captain or a major has an m0/m1 combo WHEN THEY SHOULD HAVE AN M2

I check their garage and they have an M1 that they aren't using (using M0 Shaft but has M1 Thunder)

Going to higher ranks doesn't help, the Lt Generals and stuff sometimes have an M1

I would really like some help -- and please don't tell me "PRO PASS" because it doesn't work. Ever.

Blocked for 1 hour only... That's why I see some saboteurs back on track the same day they're banned for sabotage. Could you please tell us what are the different punishments for the same account?

It goes up in stages. First - 1 hour, then 1 day, then 1 week, then month, then 6 months, then forever. Although I'm not sure it it only takes 6 bans to get a forever ban. I think you need a certain number of ban days (total number of days spent banned) to go up to the next stage of ban. But I won't speculate about that any more.

Once in one of my early battle with my second account I saw a hacker. He had a Hornet and Shaft. He used the jump hack to get on top of a building to snipe people. Luckily he was on my team. In the end I stilled finished in first.

If possible you should record such violaters in a video and post them in the Game Violations section to get them blocked. But make sure you read the section rules first.

BTW what does MULT mean?

Mult means a player who deliberately remains inactive and/or disrupts and sabotages the gameplay of other players.

BTW what does MULT mean?

It originally derived from the term "multi", meaning multiple accounts. Players often create new accounts in addition to their main one in order to purchase different equipment sets and try different kinds of gameplay. Players mostly refer to all the accounts created after the main one as "alts" (as in "alternatives"), but they used to be called "mults".

Nowadays however, "mult" is used as a term for an inactive player in a team game. This is because players used to create a second account, then log in with both accounts, enter a game with their "main" and put their "mult" into the enemy team. The "mult" would be inactive and would take up space in the enemy team, thus reducing the team's strength in numbers and helping the other team (where the player is using his "main") win. Since then any weak or inactive player in a team game ended up being referred to as a "mult".

Keep in mind that while having multiple accounts is allowed, what I described above is an unfair way to win battles and is a violation of the game rules, which will lead to a ban. The rules state:

 2. Activities and behaviors that are prohibited for the Game’s Users:

2.1. Actions that will lead to (at the Administration’s discretion) the permanent or temporary blocking of a User’s Account:

2.1.4. Battles between accounts owned by the same User;

2.1.5. Sabotage — Any acts or omissions aimed at creating obstructions for the team where the User is a member, including in CTF, TDM and CP modes, fighting against the team of which you are a member (intentional selection of weak equipment, frequent pauses, inactivity or intentional failure to comply with map’s or game mode’s requirements, imitation of issues with internet connection), damaging/destroying an ally’s tank, fighting in the interest of the opponent’s team (conspiracy);

Meaning that a player can't have two of his accounts in one battle, playing for different teams, and also that intentionally playing in a way that makes your team weaker is not allowed.

So if you see any such players, you can use the report command (/vote nickname) to report them in-game or record a video and post in the Game Violations section

Guys... in many people's defense. The vote comand is way over used. I took a 1 minute break in a polygon cp xp/bp i was in first place as an m2, not easy to do especially nowadays, i was gone for just a min and i got so many people reporting me. We still won and i finished in a respectable 2nd place yet everyone calledme a mult. The mod came and corrected everyone yet the next round the exact same thing happened to annother m2... just because you are an m2 doesnt mean you are a mult. I have had my butt whipped by m2s and i am not bad ar xp/bp. Guys learn the real meaning of a mult and a sabatuor then report them -_- in the AS mode the red team intentionally flips one another just because that person got to the flag first. That is sabotage, what is not sabotage is taking a short break to put a cup of coffe in the microwave. Keep thst in mind before you report someone. I rest my case.

So true. I feel like most of the battle mods' efforts are wasted on false reports about "ruiners" and "mults", when in reality people just report anything they dislike right away, without thinking whether the player is actually violating rules.

The problem is when there is an actul mult in the team and you send a report, it rarely happens that the moderator/admin comes on time and the player who has been reported keeps multing.

because the /vote command only working when 25% of all players use it on 1 player but it's still not a guarantee. so It's far better to make a video evidence if you want violator to be deal with

Remember to consider as well when reporting that the account will not always be suspended nor blocked since the player is not a mult, but just seems like it. He may just be a really bad player which must be very frustrating...

idc hhhhhhhh

Mults can actually be useful . Just get Titan ,push them to a choke point / entry way to your base, mine under them and watch the noob who planted it get ticked off

In the time it takes you to do that, the enemy team managed to capture 4 flags.

I think the best way to effectively combat mults/saboteurs/ hackers is to bring back the kick system. Unfortunately, this has disadvantages (ie the reason it was removed - people can gang up and kick one person)

Reporting a coffee affecionado simply is coffee abuse and this shall not stand!
