Now I am starting to fear the mods worse than the cheaters and mults. Most are worthless egomaniacs who just like to get their free stuff and ban people for no reason.

Why would a Shaft try to capture a flag?

That's a foolish decision with that type of turret...

I would if my role in the battle called for it, shaft can also be used as a short range turret with arcade mode remember. It may not be utilising it's sniping power, but an extra attacker is always more helpful then a predator who is just sitting ducks waiting for a visual on the enemy. All in all, simply depends on map, combo and manouvrability.

I was victimized by a Russian mod who probably doesn't even speak English and didn't even know what I said, which was not insult. The helponline people don't speak English either so who is supposed to help you around here if you don't speak Russian? What is to keep a Russian player from reporting you to a Russian mod who bans you based on that false information? I had no chat for a week for nothing, which really hurt me in my clan.

Damn, that sounds bad :mellow:. Well, on one hand, they do take screenshots and consult mods who know English. On the other hand, it could also be a misunderstanding. You could PM their admin to ask for clarification. If that doesn't help (though, in all probability, it should) , then you could go up the pecking order and contact Cedric or Russian CM and ask them to investigate.

Cedric is talking to a wall and Russian  admin is too. If Russians turn you in to Russian mod you are hosed.  I don't know anything to do, really. Just try not to piss off the Russians I guess. It is their game.

I played Arena CP. There was a Titan-Shaft in our team. He barely captured the point, only camped.

I am not talking about Shafts in Highways or Stadium CTF. I'm talking about a dumb that uses Shaft in Arena CP.

Stop speculating. You assume things you know nothing about, despite being told the exact opposite by people who DO know how the system works.

 

There is not even any place to report chat violations.

This has nothing to do with mods making wrong decisions to ban people. That section was never intended to be used for complaints about chat mods, if that's what you mean. You can read a clear explanation about why the section was closed in the header of that section.

Russian mods do know some English. Some even know it very well (take me as an example). If a mod does not know what you said - they will either send a screenshot of the chat to someone who can translate, or ignore your messages altogether. A moderator does not ban without 100% certainty of the meaning.

You don't need to know any of these things. Like I said above - regarding ANY chat ban, a player of the English community should contact a corresponding EN administrator. In this case - either Ostrica or M4jH0L-AFG.

 

Take your song and dance to someone who believes you.

If you don't trust/believe even the highest officials of this community, then I'm afraid the only advice I can give you is that you need to find a more suitable community.

Maf is an English community mod who also speaks Russian.

You are free to mute the chat, however, we don't want anyone to do it as a result of being victimised. Watching injustice happen and ignoring it is just as bad as committing injustice. If you know that you are on the side of truth, then nothing should stop you from seeking justice.

1. There is no such thing as wrongful ban - every player gets a proof of their wrongdoing and in 98% bans in EN community are justified

2. Administrators of all communities are cooperating among themselves in order to minimize the number of potentials mistakes and avoid double standards when dealing with players of different communities. If there's any misunderstanding, we're able to sort the issue right away, if players contact us in timely manner. 

3. GVA is a chat administrator in RU community and is in charge of RU chat mods. Everyone can write to him through RU forum: http://ru.tankiforum.com/topic/64/. If you contacted me regarding your ban, I'd explain you the same.

Absolutely wrong. I got banned by a russian mod for saying "stupid". I logged into the russian forum and asked the reason of my ban in PM. Then the guy answered me with the screen of my insult (insult) and told me it was a mistake.

I don't know though because I have never heard anyone that works for tanki say they made a mistake. No, no, no you would then be admitting that you are wrong about something which is a tanki equivalent to cyanide.

To be fair, I'm guessing that the numbers are probably about equal, although there are probably more English speaking Russians than Russian speaking English

Well, that's not really the debate here. Russian is not an international language. But english is. Everyone, after a certain age, should be able to speak his native language and english.

Not everyone should be able to speak english in the world. Your from India or Sri Lanka? I think it is compulsory over there but not in countries such as England and France. Although if you work in those types of countries then you should know at least the basics of that country's native language.

I read it. Either you phrased yourself incorrectly or I can't read properly:
