How about a flashbang?

1. extremely good for capturing a flag

2.it blinds the enemy

3.it could last about umm...5 seconds mabe?

thats all the reasons i can think of.Post here for other suggestions! (Sorry if the picture does not turn out right i'm not sure if i know how to completely do this yet.)

bad idea, i agree, but your logic (common sense) is failed. With common sense, mines would hurt your team-mates too if they hit it, and you will damage your teammates if you shoot them. But this only happens if friendly fire is on. So your logic doesn't work. Anyway, i agree it's a bad idea, i just hate reading bad logic.

This is not a bad idea at all if implemented correctly.

 

I have seen this type of item as a grenade in FPSs and it is quite effective. The way it would need to work is make it have a limited range. All Players within 20 meters or so of the user are blinded for a moment (about 5 secs or so) with sound dampening as well.

 

It would be fun and easy to use and would make for a great addition to the game.

Perhaps a flashbang is too infantry oriented? Remember, these are tanks we're talking about. Perhaps a smokescreen generator? Or smoke grenade launchers? I'd imagine a cloud of smoke concealing your movements would be pretty handy on open maps.

That would be a really cool device to have on your tank as long as the smokescreen effect isn't too resource intensive. I would love being able to press a button and shoot smoke out of my tank.

One problem: if you want to add devices to your turret, then you would most likely need to upgrade it. Or you can buy it as an accessory like the drugs. I'm currently neutral on this idea.
