I have used OpenBrodcaster but it with Tanki take up extreme amounts of CPU so I am looking for something a little more light.

Reading through some other violations (was reporting someone) I seen where they sent them to this:

http://help.tankionline.com/topics/2327-how-to-record-a-video/

Its a Tanki Help Article with several different ones but with zero links to the official websites.

If you have a favorite one, please share and give a reason why you like it.

no hating others oppinions please.

Thanks!

For quick fire stuff I use Bandicam but for the important stuff I use Adobe Captivate.

is that free no adware or trojans hiding....I am skeptical of freeware

Bandicam is free of adware though when you install it make sure you select the "advanced" option if there is one to make sure it doesn't install a third party application or something.

Adobe Captivate is perfectly fine though its not free.

Action!, by Mirillis, is a very lightweight screen and game and livestream recording software. It supports AVI and MP4 formats. MP4 will lag as much as Bandicam, but does take up less space. AVI will not lag when recording. The framerate drop will be <5. AVI is the default. It also has an exporting tool built into the software, so you can take your AVI videos and convert them to MP4 videos, which, after deleting the AVI video, saves you a ton of space. A 50 minute video in 1080p60 was less than 5 GB after exporting, which was about 30 before.

It is free for 30 days. After that, you will have to pay for it. The trial is safe, I have had it on 3 laptops with 3 different antiviruses, none of them said it was unsafe when file scanned. The only "Adware" is the activate button, which takes you to their website to buy it. The price is #30.00 [uSD].

Another question: Do you have a desktop with a NVIDIA graphics card?

anyone still use bandicam?

Me sometimes. As far as screen recorders, none of thee good ones are full version and free. OBS is only one. Otherwise use free trial or pay money. That's the way it is for non crappy screen recorders.
