Windowed Chats

Windowed Chats

Windowed chats would be chats that are in a window which would be separated from the Global Chats

on the left side of the battle board.

They would be like private chats which only moderators, chat host, and a guest would see.

These private chats would be able to be resized, exited, and minimized.

Multiple chat windows can be opened with friends at once and would be tabs. Example : Steam Chats

A party button would even be available to invite multiple people to the same chat, you

would be able to report people in the chat too.

The reason why Windowed Chats are needed is because you can chat while you're in battle

and you wouldn't have to leave the battle to chat.

For example you'd be able to talk to someone privately in a battle or someone who's not in a battle.

To open a Windowed Chat all you would do is just right click on someone's username.

In the settings you can decide who are allowed to talk to you.

Example : Friends [Y] or [N] , Strangers [ Y ] or [ N ]

Valid

I doubt that this is possible with the Flash game engine. If something like this was feasible, then developers would add it when they were implementing the in-game PM feature.

Then I guess this would be well-suited for Tanki X instead of a Global Chat in that game.

No point of this. You can write privately to people anyway. Just go to a server with less people if you don't want the chat to go fast. Or just talk over PM in the forum. ;)

If you actually read my post correctly maybe you would've known that this would be meant for chatting in a battle instead of having to leave the battle to chat to someone.

This would help in case of your friend can't join a battle with you and you still want to talk to him.

Maybe you want to talk to one of your friends while you both are in a battle but you want it to be private.
