Tanki Picture of the Day - Have any?

Wow, I'm litterally blown away by the new stuff I've learned in GIMP.

The program makes fantastic edits, and it wasn't even that hard.

I absolutely love these shadows, I didn't knew I could do this with GIMP:

(The custom paint is called #213 Solar lightning btw)

100% Paint.NET, my friend, pure magic. I didn't even think about using GIMP for that...

Info for nerds here:

So, instead of using Adobe Photoshop or Gimp or anything of this professional class, I took the noob approach and upgraded my Paint.NET to beyond pro. After I installed some additional functions the program looks nothing like the vanilla one, which can be downloaded from anywhere. (If anyone is interested in the mods I used, skype me. {WARNING: THE MODS I USE ONLY WORK FOR WINDOWS XP}For the effects I use to make the tanks look shinier and more 3D, go to effects, choose "Photo Effects" and then choose the Glow option. Set Range to 3-4, Brightness to 5-6 and leave the contrast as it is. If you want the objects to have a 3D shadow, use the Glow tool again but this time set brightness to 0, range near MAX and contrast to 75%. Makes stuff much more realistic, doesn't it? I then added the explosions, sharpened them and gave them a bit of glow as well, while increasing the Saturation to +3. Done!

No offence intended, but I think there have already been other topics made on the subject of how long, or when a forum member started playing Tanki. As well as, that on the subject of "hacking". As such, I feel it would be highly inappropriate of me to dampen the spirit of the so many creative, humorous and positive battle scenes, score cards and rank-up photos/pictures, etc. that have been posted in this thread so far; with that of unconstructive dead-ended issues, which can only lead nowhere.

Thank you for posting your Tanki screen-shots from an earlier period...It really is amazing how much the design of the game has improved. The graphic artists and everyone involved, have really done an incredible job with detail, and I feel they should be applauded for their efforts..."Kudos to you guys/gals!" :)

If missing gold is ruining your day... I suggest you get your priorities fixed.

Lol ikr? happens to everyone...... Life is unfair... :(

A paradoxical saying "If life is unfair to everyone, then doesnt that mean life is fair?"
