Hiya, tankers! We're back with another writing contest this month. Brace up for the Newspaper's newest challenge, as there are some sizeable prizes up for grabs, waitin' for the best storytellers out there.

Task

 

The task is more obvious than the nose on your face: Create a short story about 300 words long! However, on top of that, there's one catch. To make the contest a little more interesting, you will have to incorporate names of Tanki Online members into your story. Check the example in the spoiler below to visualize what is expected from you.

A Story by

I was once a @HeroPlayer, but suddenly I got attacked by a who attacked me with a @SharpRaZzor. The 's leader was @GeneralPie. Shortly after, @TheLonelyEpic guy saw me and rushed me to hospital. There, they removed the @SharpRaZzor and I @Remained on my bed watching a guiness world record of the biggest @GoldRock which was ever found. Soon after,the was interrogated by @FederalBureauFBI. The only thing the said was "I will ". They put the behind the bars. Little did anyone know, he has poison with him. When they gave food to him, he mixed the poison and ate it. One hour later, they had come to take him to the court of @FederalBureauFBI but he was @already.dead. Then, the had his body buried in a grave. @GeneralPie came and placed a flower on his grave, a @cheap_plastic_flower

 

Which nicknames you use are up to you. Note that every nickname must be written in this form [.member=Flexoo] (remove the dot) to be displayed properly.

 

Your entries will be judged on quality of plot, number of nicknames used (the more the better) and their originality. Humor is welcome.

 

Rules

 

- You have to use a minimum of 12 different nicknames in your story. Entries with less than 12 nicknames won't be 

  considered.

- You are allowed to use only nicknames of players who reached the rank of Warrant Officer 1 or higher. Nicknames of

   lower ranked players won't count.

- Word limit is 300 words. Slightly less or more (+/- 50 words) is acceptable, but not recommended.

 

:excl: Implement only the nicknames of the players who are registered  on the forum. Use the search field to find the users whose nicknames you want to use.

 

Prizes

 

1st place:  35 000 crystals

2nd place: 25 000 crystals

3rd place:  15 000 crystals

 

Other worthy entries will be awarded with 5 000 consolation prizes.

My Entry:

The story of

 

There once was a @HeRo named . He was flying through the @Galaxy when he was amazed by the . However, there was @Someone making an evil @Monster inside. The @Monster was @InSanely powerful and could @KILL any tank. The monster's name was @DeathByBoss. So then, revealed his secret identity: @Godmode_ON. He then used the power of @Devil paint and rank-defying m3s to challenge the sneaky @Someone inside, who's name was @Scientist. The mighty @Godmode_ON quickly laid waste to the evil @Scientist. In rage, @DeathByBoss attacked the pure-hearted @Godmode_ON with all his @Killer m1 could do. Bracing himself, the @HeRo said his last wishes. He felt a little thunk on his hull. He looked up to feel his health bar telling him only 1% of his health was damaged. He had once thought the health bar was only there to ruin screenshots, but knowing the @Monster's was useless against him provided him with a whole new level of confidence. He shot @DeathByBoss once with his m4 thunder, and the impact was so violent, the 's barrel was bent. In victory, our hero spoke his improvised catchphrase: Looks like your evil plan just got twisted!! Using his secret weapon, @Godmode_ON unleashed the mighty @Mammy m0 on @DeathByBoss. The evil @Monster faded into nothingness. Then @Godmode_ON, the mighty @Super @Tanker, dropped 3 @GoldBoxes in celebration. Then a few moments later, @DeathByBoss spawned next to him. It seemed like he was destined to annoy forever.

The End...

 

(Do i get extra points for shaming myself??)

(Also, for some reason, the tankers and aren't showing up in the story as members)

@The enough not know, @The @Super Bowl is a celebration in American . It @Typically occurs during a @One- in February. It involves eating copious amounts of @UnHealthy food while standing in the general area of a television. Occasionally you might @See someone actually watching the television, typically tuned to the broadcast of the match between the final two football teams. Football is a involving lines of @bigx men running in a pattern with the intent to cause as much damage to the other line as possible. Some s believe that an oddly-shaped brown ball is involved, but that is debatable. A few show their support by painting their @Face or whooping loudly whenever they feel like it. Most just to eat food. Popular delicacies include fried chicken covered with some sort of spicy sauce, and @Extreme245ly @UnHealthy fizzy and y drinks known as soda. Many families have different traditions, but my personal one involves staying in my room while my @Friends watch television and eat food.

:excl: Hello everyone! The problem is that some of the players aren't forum members and thus their nicknames won't display correctly. Try to use only nicknames of players registered in the forum. You can freely edit your entries anytime and possibly substitute the invalid nicknames. Rules will be accordingly amended to counter this situation. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but I have to implement this rule, so the contest still abides the theme.

 

From now on, please search through the forum members' list before using the nicknames.

Few questions. First, I made a story which only uses nicknames for character names, allowed, winnable? Second, it went just slightly above 350 words (357 I believe), allowed? Thanks in advance, nice contest :P

As for the word limit, you will have to cut those 7 words.

Finally something interesting :D, btw, Is it allowed to use player nicknames with a couple of Hyphens or under scrolls or maybe (pretty sure it isnt but just for confirmation) Even Numbers, Like 3 replacing E, For example, if i want to write super star, there is a player called @SUP3R_ST4R So is it allowed?

My entry:

 

@The world is yet an @Amazing @Mystery to us human beings. @So it indeed another @ST4Rry night. I , along with my @Friend, @Frenkli, getting @Ready our flight to in to attend a concert. We got our tickets for the @BestPrice we could get but even @So, they were too expensive. Nevertheless we decided to go. @The band @Supernatural was @just @Marvelous and we did not want to miss it. We @Knew that our flight would not land @Before @Sunset and thus we decided to take some re@Freshments to escape the jet @Lag. We were late and it was almost @Time for our flight @So we rushed to our car. I at a speed at which i could easily be @Fined, but since my companion claimed to be @therichkiller, that is what he d to be called, I decided to drive @FreeStyle. We reached @The airport and ran , our now was to catch our flight. Sadly, we had missed it, @Frenkli's @Face @Looked @just  @Like a @DejectedTomato. Not @Only had we missed the concert but also wasted a lot of money. Any, we went home. @The @Next @Night when i turned on my television; The breaking was ing, During the concert that we were ought to visit, the hall had a short circuiting and the building had caught @Fire causing the of @The @SUP3R_ST4R and @200 and as many as were severely ed. This was the perfect lesson @God had taught me of "@Whatever happens, it happens for ". @So my fellow readers, you should never be ungrateful, be thankful as we, humans, are not @wise enough to @Judge what is @Wrong and what is @Right for us because of our limited @Powers.
