Today I played only 2 battles. In the first one, I finished first (score >1100) with k/d 1,15, but we lost :( . I got more than 800 crystals and I also cought the only 3k gold dropped :) . As you can guess, my rating number became lower (by 2). After that, I joined another poly cp with 2 people in each team and left after 2 minutes because noone joined. Rating fell again... (from 58880 to 58879)

So I think, your rating falls, every time you leave a battle and during the battle you have to be good if you dont want your rating to drop a lot :P .

Crystals earned in total 6863 (=> Cry/EP ratio 6.17)  

 

Suprise, surprise, my rating went down. Oh well, I can live with that - suppose the only way to "play better" would be to buy a Premium pass.. :D

 

Intend to update the complete list today and show some stats on how everybody's rating has evolved..

I mean, I can be really good, be first of my team, do the job. And then we lose because half of the team is useless, and then my ratings go down because I got small crystals reward. I pay for having a bad team.

Therefore I think that the impact of winning-vs-loosing should be less, while the impact of the score/minute in relation to your teammates (only your teammates) should count more. You face the same situation as your team.. so the ones that handle it better should get a better rating.

 

downside: Of course this is then a rating based on comparisms, and less of a rating that can be directly calculated from some fixed statistics (like hours played total, xp gained total, crystals gaines total, ...).

86 players are now in the list, 9 of which are new. Comparing the status of the other 77 players to the last full update 1 week ago on 12/02/2017:

- 2 had a rankup (i.e. large increase of rating value)

- 9 had an increase of their rating value (in average by +8)

- 6 had no change in rating value (2 of these didn't play at all)

- 60 (!) had a decrease of their rating value (in average by -16)

 

The list also includes the amount of EP earned, and how much EP it took to have a change of rating value by +/-1 (for those not having had a rank up).

Funny numbers just for one battle. Joined late in Arena CP. Exp : 340. Crystals : 475. 25 kills, 14 deaths. Ratio Crys/Exp : 1.4.
 
Ratings : 9194999 > 9191994. I lost 0000005 after winning a battle, with 1.8 K/D and 1.4 Crys/Exp ratio.

Exp : 1739. Crystals : 2208. 98 kills, 57 deaths. Ratio Crys/Exp : 1.27.

 

Ratings : 9194994 > 9191959. I lost 0000035 after winning a battle, with 1.7 K/D and 1.27 Crys/Exp ratio. My team won the battle, I finished first, large win. And I lose 35 points in ratings :lol:

It's almost impossible to get your ratings up without premium, unless you play very very long battles (Polygon 999) and get a big reward at the end.

I made almost 7k exp, 7.5k crystals. And I lost 182 points in the ratings, and 13 positions.

 

So, you must win all your battles, and never leave in the middle of a battle.

 

I hope these numbers will be seen by some developpers. Ratings need to be reworked again ;)

Even when winning all battles, you'll never reach the Cry/EP ratio you used to have, back when missions and goldboxes counted. I think the problem of the current rating system is that pretty much everybody is dropping despite playing just as well as before, while Premium buyers go up / maintain their rating. Not something that helps the credibility of this system. Not so long ago, Tanki stated:

 

"All I can tell you is that you should play better to get a higher rating. And that you can actually lower your rating even if you win. This happens if your playing is below your usual level, irrespective of whether you win or lose."

I got 4 Golds today and 1750 crystals x2 from mission. My Crys/Exp was actually higher than 2 today. But since Golds and missions don't count now...

 

I will keep losing points, since I can't do a better Crys/Exp than I used to have, as you said.

 

My usual level is the same, maybe better since I try to not leave in a middle of a battle now, and I pick my battles more carefully. I win more battles.

My Crys/Exp is almost the same as yesterday (http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=348941&page=15&do=findComment&comment=6026959) 1,07. But My K/D is 2.56 and yesterday it was 1.58. So, I only lost 56 points in ratings. I lost my last battle, the only battle I lost today, Polygon CP 100, I messed up my Crys/Exp with that battle.
