Can't See Drop-zones

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I can't see the drop zones where bonus boxes fall, I have it enabled in the Settings, but it still doesn't seem to appear.

It used to show the areas, until I unchecked the Automatics Graphics Quality for shadows and dynamic lights, for better experience (I really like it with that!) however, I can't get it to show. Please help me.

**WARNING**

When clearing cache it removes websites you are logged into.

Itremoves password data and login data.

It removes SAVED SETTINGS for some websites..

Proceed with caution.

**Clear Client App Data Chunks**

Launch the "Run" App > Naviage to %AppData% > TankiOnline > Right Click on Folder > Delete > Complete

I'll clear my browser's cache. I don't use Windows, and don't use the client, I use Linux and the client isn't available for Linux. It wouldn't bother me if I clear my browser's cache, I only use a specific browser for Tanki.

Try clearing your cache.

Scratch that. It didn't work :/ I have it enable in options "Show dropzones" why isn't it working?!

Try a different browser.

Try disabling it, playing with that then changing it back.

I have tried a different browser (same laptop) and just tried the disable-and-play-a-bit-re-enable and it doesn't work. Was for about an hour.

Also what I don't see are bullet holes, like if you shot Thunder there'd be a black blob at the building/wall, I don't see that. Nor with any other turrent

Alright, that means sprites aren't showing for you. Can you see bushes?

Yes, bushes do show; jitterishly, from a few angles the top of the bush disappears with the bottom showing, if I move my tank a bit, the top shows again. Very weird.

Basically. Just include as much info as you can, including what you have tried

Okie dokie. I sent an e-mail to Tanki. I'll edit this post as an answer to the issue.

EDIT: //

-------------------------  Current Answer:

The best thing to do was to change browsers, there is nothing to do other than that; though, it's hard to find different browsers with Hardware Acceleration and that support Flash Player, here are a few suggestions,

Vivaldi Browser "The browser you'll love!" ('Go knock yourself out, but this may be your new favourite browser forever.')

**EXPERIMENTAL** Chromium Browser; Distribution of Chrome (Not Recommended) *Last Resort*    ~lol~

Or just simply try Firefox (Recommended)

* These are browsers I came across, all of these, I believe, work on absolutely all platforms (including Linux...  ;) )

Until now, I don't know... I feel really stupid making this edit.  Also, just for "safety" reasons, use these links on your own risk. I don't know anymore... but it's unlikely anything de-safety-wise would happen to the links listed above.
