Tanki Online is on Steam

IMO this was a VERY bad move by Alternativa. This will just bring even more negative reputation to TO, and people won't even care about TankiX when they read all the negative reviews on TO on Steam.

I must admit, there do seem to be a large number of people on the forum dissatisfied with Tanki. You can go ahead and say that is only a small minority of those who play it, but if they are willing to leave their views on the forum, little will stop them from leaving their opinions on Steam. The (dis)advantage of Steam is that it shows what the overall reaction to Tanki is. So when new potential players see that it has negative -> mixed reviews, they would be less likely to play it.

 

This may, of course, not be the case, but I wonder what Tanki will do if it is....

Nice!! Can I now play Tanki on my Smartphone? Using the Steam mobile app? (Puffin works fine for buying stuff during sales but it only works for playing on high quality devices with good internet)

I'm not sure if you can use the app to play, but if I you can, your phone will still have a tough time with it.

Did you already log in to another account before? If not, could you provide a little extra information as to why you can't log in? Like what happens when you try? Could you make some screenshots too?

not sure why you can't log in to it.. cause i just created my own account ( away from my kids ) and i did not have any issues with it.. try checking to see if you using the same name and spelling for both accounts also pass words..

I agree with you .. not sure why .. the game and systems will be changing and this needs to be done .. systems do need to be constantly maintained and change to keep up with the Jones ( the world ) ..

What bugs me is that most of the people who put negative reviews seem to still be playing the game. I mean, if you're still playing it, it can't be that bad, can it? I don't think that people realise that scaring potential players away is not the way to improve Tanki.

Anyway, I have a question. Is the Steam version of the game gives a lot of errors?

 

Because I downloaded the Client a few days ago. And I have PLENTY of errors in maps like Rio, Future, Tribute. Every 10-15 minutes. It's fine in Polygon, Arena or Dekc-9. But in medium to large maps, its a joke.

 

And when I play through Mozilla, it takes me 1 minute, sometimes more to enter a battle...

 

It all started after Women's Day.
