Next special day is Fool Day celebrations, see below a sumurray of the stuff that was done last year:

1/ It had only sales on  Mu: Up to 100% off Micro-upgrades and 25% off Speed-ups

2/ Very special Gold boxes: 5 times as many gold boxes containing a number of cool rewards including:

 

• A stash of 1 000, 5 000 (rare), 10 000 (very rare) or 50 000 crystals (extremely rare like 10 of them in total)

• An additional two standard value golds dropped right after you catch the gold = 3 GB in like 40 seconds

• All supplies activated for 5 minutes (the effect remains even if you’re destroyed, but ends if you change equipment)

• 60 seconds of immortality (Godmode_On)(the effect remains even if you self-destruct, but ends if you change equipment or pick up a Double Armor supply)

• 1, 2 or 3 days of Premium Account ( I got one day last year :) )

• A bomb that destroys all tanks near the drop zone. All the kills are credited to the gold hunter.

After this event you need to wait for May Holidays where sales were 25% (one equipment per day).

 

And then 8th TO Anniversary on the 5th of June, last Tanki’s 7th Birthday Celebrations had sales at 50% (one equipment per day) and twice more GB.

So twelve hours ago I did not kjnow about this sale. So I bought the Atlas kit.

 

Now i learn that if I had waited a couple days, I would have saved about 70,000 Crystals. But I wasted them, because Tanki cannot be bothered to tell us about an upcoming sale until it is on our doorstep. How about mentioning this in the VLOG? Oh noooo... why use that to communicate stuff?

 

Just last week I left an irate posting about how Tanki seems to go out of their way to provoke their customers.

 

This week they rub it in in spades.

 

All I an say is keep repeating that these occurrences just keep coming and that is why I refuse to support Tanki any more with real money. I want to support Tanki but not when they go out of their way to dis-satisfy their customers. Do you guys ever learn?

 

70,000 Cr wasted. Thanks Tanki. For crying out loud!

Yeah, it was like the first super cheap ones that were completely free if I remember correctly. Keep in mind it was the april fool's day celebration. Everything was not as it appeared.

Here's my question to you, why did you buy the kit when you already had m2 smoky?

This is a long answer. (By the way I had the m1 Smoky and the m1 Titan not m2.)

 

What I really wanted was m2 titan and m2 Striker. But that kit can be bought only in the shop. It has never been in the garage. (Because .... well I rant in a section at the end.) So what do I do?

 

1) I use m1 forever until the Striker titan kit is avaiolable in the garage. If ever. Could be months or never.

 

2) Wait one more rank and ~60,000 exp to Major using m1/m1m1/ Then Buy Striker m2 and a protection m2. WAit two more ranks to COL to bet m2 titan.

 

3) Buy Atlas to get m2/m2/m2 right up front, then buy Striker m2 after 60,000 exp and reaching Major. This would cost about 25,00 to 40,000 more than method 2 above but OTOH I would have an m2 Smoky I could use if I absolutely had to.

 

I chose method #3 after thinking about it since the last kit rotation, 4-5 days. I finally decided I would go with #3. I buy it, play for a little, then go to bed. I wake up and find out I've ben screwed.

All Tank has to do is make every kit available in both the Shop and the Garage all the time. Then I will know the damn kit can be bought without having to factor in weeks of extra waiting if I am simply unlucky. Tanki has a VLOG, a Forum, a monthly newsletter in many languages.  Here's an idea: mention upcoming sales in these outlets!

 

Then if I screw up I have myself to blame. Instead Tanki is going out of the way to make sure I am both dis-satisfied and that it is their genuine fault. This is called a Bad Business Model.

 

Psst! Tanki! in the non-Commuinst marketplace informing your customers is called advertising.  Advertising increases sales and product loyalty. 

 

A big part of gaming is planning. Sometimes this is called "thinking ahead". Thinking ahead is what good gamers do. Thinking "several moves ahead" is highly prized in chess. Russians are said to like chess. Let's hope some Tanki employees look into this "thinking ahead" stuff. They can probably find some Russians to ask..

 

I am so G__ D___ mad about this because Tanki's policies are hurting their own self interest. The amount of bad logic that goes into the current policies is flabbergasting. It takes a special kind of stubborn to keep this up.
