I DISAGREE with Mr. Cedric's statement that "kills will only be counted after the battle is over". I participated in the event on the 2nd day, started at kills=45182 (according to my profile) I didn't touched pro-battle the whole day and ended at kills=46404 (according to my profile) which is 1222 kills in the whole day and the result sheet says I made exactly 1222 kills tho I left too many battles in-between after making several kills. If your statement is true Mr. Cedric then I wouldn't have accomplished 1200+ kills, which I have. So please make the clarification to all the tankers who have faithfully participated in the event with all their energy and efforts.

 

To all the tankers who failed to get 1200 kills, I think these could have been the possible reasons :

 

- You might have accidentally participated in a pro-battle and that's why you messed the math up or maybe someone else from your account have played pro-battles.

 

- You might have messed up in timings as the event was from 21:00 UTC+0 to 20:59 UTC+0

 

- If you counted your kills by your own then it can be a human error in maths.

 

- Or one of the possible reason can be, there might be some glitch or error in the system of Tanki Online kills calculating system. And if this thing is true then developers needs to re-think before coming up with any events like this.

 

 

Also counting kills through your profile is not a reliable way as you cant play pro-battles the whole day so please developers/administrators next time provide us a different was which tells us our kills made in non-pro battles through out the event day so that the event announcement post wouldn't be filled with posts of disappointed tankers who due to some reason or confusion failed to achieve something they worked really hard for.

Are you sure you started at the correct time? Note that 21:00 UTC does not always match your local time, depending on your time zone.

For example 21:00 UTC in Germany is 23:00 local time, in Pakistan it's 2:00 local time, in New York it's 16:00 local time.

 

Are you sure you started at the right time? See what I wrote above for more details.

I started killing at 21:00 utc which is 23:00 in my time. i made over 1.2k kills (at least according to my profile and i am mentioned in the list doing only 1044 kills.

Accourding to mr. cedric Rule !! "that kills counted at the end of the battle" then !! for example if i kill 100 players & got 10 self distuctions then at the end of the battle it will show 90 kills !! but in the profile kills counting system it will give 100 Kills !!
in general !! there is no statement on the terms & conditions supporting what Mr. Cedric claimed  that counting system>

its really un fair !!!! i had done 1300 Kills +++ surely & they say i killed 1133 :(  "after wasting 70K crystals" & the result 5 Gold boxes!! 
you can skip the 5 gold boxes prize !! i dont need them

+1 sad but it is true.

 

I guess that's the reason we are coming short on kills. Because we calculated the kills from the battles which were not completed. But this wasn't mention anywhere nor anybody informed beforehand. It is Tanki's fault

ok. I checked all terms and conditions before i decided to waste 15 hours of my life on this game. I knew the devs will find a way to trick us i can't believe this stupid game.

 

 

• "The kills must be made in regular, non-PRO battles joined by pressing the «Battle» button, or in non-PRO battles picked from the battle list. Kills in PRO Battles will NOT count.
• Kills will be counted from 21:00 UTC till 20:59 UTC the next day" - quote from the original announcement,did i miss something?

 

 

All the "nice" mods suggesting stupid stuff like "download app to tell you what utc time it is" ran away when finally there's a real problem.

after wasting so many supplies on both days. making more than 700 kills each day but not all of my kills got counted which is just wow.....

 

so i end up doing 546 on first day and 450 something on second day. for that they gave me an amazing gift of 3 gold boxes worth 3k crystals wow.

 

just for your kind information i had a mission few days back make 1000 xp for 3 golds. now just tell me was it worth participating in such noob contest.

 

 

i dont want to be rude or abusive but stop messing around with game, non buyers etc 

 

anyway this was a nice lesson learnt, next time will better hangout with friends or family whenever such noob contest happens.

Dude, I was sure I made more than 250 kills on Saturday, but apparently, Tanki was feeling lazy and decided to count only 249 of my kills! Also, I couldn't play on Sunday cause of Easter... :angry: <_<

The system counts the kills not the developers.they are in charge of ruining the system.

These events aren't really the best choice to make, because you have to spend a lot of money on a robotic kill counter that's not too accurate, and the contests are really a waste of time.

Unfortunately the plain truth is this for those who had their kills not correctly counted ...... The Terms and Conditions only apply to the players and it does not apply to Tanki management itself. They know and admit that the software wasn't capable of properly counting the Kills made as was clearly stated by Cedric himself.

As has been explained before, kills are only counted at the end of a battle. Sorry, there's nothing to be done about this. The system simply doesn't work that way.

Their attitude is simply "to bad for you". They know that there is a problem and that they are not going to attempt to or even try and fix it. They also know that they are not going to try and do the right thing for those that were shorted on their kills. That is the reality of the situation. The really irritating thing is that they only mentioned this "minor" problem after the contest was over. If it had been known beforehand by everyone and mentioned in the Terms and Conditions, then players could have been more selective in battle choice. Especially for their final battles and this problem could have possibly been avoided. But once again this wasn't their fault and once again "too bad for you".

 

They also know that no one is going to do anything. No one is going to get a lawyer over this to make them uphold their side of the Terms and Conditions. So they will do the simplest thing ..... Nothing. They will just ignore it and know that most people will grumble a bit and soon return to playing the game. It shows an unbelievable amount of arrogance on the part of Tanki developers. They think they can do no wrong and so even when provided with undeniable proof of a problem, they will simply do nothing for the people who they depend upon to support them and the game.

 

The other truth is this ..... more and more people are getting tired of being treated in this way and that is evident in the continuing decline in the number of players actually playing the game.

 

The interesting thing for me is watching the slow implosion of a great game and seeing how long it can remain viable.
