Pixelated Graphics and Bad Lag

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I was playing one day and noticed the graphics were very pixelated and the lag was bad.

So I refreshed the page and it was fine. So it happened again and i had to refresh 2 or 3 times before it got back to

normal! but today I cant get it to come back to normal..  -_- any ideas on how to fix?

UPDATE: I've tried everything! I enabled hardware exeleration,I use chrome so Adobe flash updates automatically,

enabled mip-mapping,reset my browsing history and cache, and automatic graphics isnt ant option in the menu!

After ALL THAT still i'm blown to bits without having time to react or even predict because it lags and i cant see

a meter in front of me! (Exageration intended)

PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS CRUD!

sadly I do not know how to post screenshots.

1)Go to your settings and turn OFF all the relevant graphics options: http://en.tankiwiki.com/Settings

2)Make sure mip-mapping is turned ON, usually that will solve pixelation issues.

3) Posting screenshots on the forum: http://en.tankiwiki.com/Posting_screenshots_in_the_forum

The way you described your problem was bad ,from what you wrote there I understood that you need to update or reinstall flash player ,or your current browser doesn't support current version of the flash player.

If it's not then most probably doing this will help : right click anywhere is the game ,turn on hardware acceleration.

There are several reasons for this, they are all listed here: https://help.tankionline.com/topics/2301-things-missing-from-settings-how-to-fix/

To resolve your original lag problem make sure that there are no background tasks running which place unnecessary load on your computer. Perhaps that will help.

i always close other tabs and anything else and chrome gets the latest flash player.

Hello, I've a similar problem. I've Windows 7 64bit and untill yesterday I was running firefox (32 bit version). Ok maybe sometimes there was lag but the graphic was ok. Today I installed the 64 bit version of firefox because I wanted to improve the performance, but the graphic now is terrible, like chrome without hardware acceleration!

Flash player is updated, hardware acceleration is on, where is the problem? :( Should I return to the 32 bit version??

p.s. now I'm back to the 32bit and it works fine. Also, following this tutorial, I've checked that none of this settings are missing and everything is supported. Using the 64bit version instead, those settings are not showed and the test page remains black. I suppose it is a problem with the flash plugin and the 64bit version of firefox, is there anyone who are using this?

guess i will miss may holidays.  :(

No, you won't. Since the problem is not fixed yet, how about you give it a try using the Standalone Flash Player till the problem gets fixed? Standalone has low ping as well, give it a try, fellow tanker.

Update: I had given up hope and one day I logged on to see what was up, and the problem was still there. I decided to try and delete my cookies

to see if that would work and it did! But as soon as I lagged out it was back. Now I have to refresh and delete cookies like 3 times for the problem to go away. I'm still happy it's solveable!

Great! You can either tell us to leave the topic open or request it to be closed since now I'm not sure whether your problem has been fixed or not and as for others who also commented in here.

The problem isn't completly fixed but i've found a way around it. You can leave it open for others but, I think I'm good. What should I do if the problem gets to the point of not being able to get around it? should I make a new topic? Thanks for all the help guys! :D :D

Edit:

Guess what?! Today I logged on and refreshed 7 times and deleted cookies and it just wont fix the problem! any other ideas guys?

I had just started buying m1's and making friends :(
