What to buy? Which is better?

okay so i want to buy a paint  and i love these four paint : corrosion,tundra,jaguar,and swash 

 

 

what is the paint that suits me. hope someone answers me

Jaguar and Swash are for close range engagements.Tundra and Corrosion for long range engagements so if you encounter one or these weapons annoys you a lot (Isida.Firebird and Freeze) These paints suits.Tundra and Corrosion for long range battles on big maps.If you encounter one or these weapons annoys you a lot (Railgun,Thunder,Shaft and Smoky) These paint suits.

 

Tundra protection:30% Railgun,10% Smoky

 

Corrosion protection:15% Thunder,10% Railgun,15% Shaft

 

Jaguar protection:10% Firebird,23% Freeze,5% Thunder

 

Swash protection:8% Isida,15% Firebird,10% Twins,5% Smoky

 

The 5% protection is nothing and 10% protection will only protect you from one shot.Example: 2 shots from thunder to kill hornet but +10% protection= 3 shots.That also goes to twins from swash.10% railgun from corrosion is quite useless for some hulls like hornet and hunter which is still a 2 shot kill.The other hulls +1 more shot.10% Firebird from jaguar will protect you against the burn effect for 2-4 seconds.

 

8% isida from swash does not help.It still can kill you in 1 full charge.

Moon silence and polygon? Assuming by you rank....corrosion or jaguar would work nicely.

Railgun and Firebird needs speed and so does thunder too.Hornet is too unstable for twins.Mammoth is mostly for defending your base if your a defender.Both twins and thunder works well for mammoth but it depends on your play style.If you like attacking than thunder.Defending for twins.

Get Irbis, Urban, or Savannah? choosechooseies

As u know I have Savannah, its pretty good but mostly for my bigger hulls.  Its freaking awesome with mammoth or viking, on my new hornet m3, ehhh.  You still will die from two rail m2 shots almost every time, so its only good on smaller hulls if there are a bunch of smokys, which does happen sometimes and when it does you will be very glad you have it.  I can take two crits in a row and still live.

 

I personally always buy paints against the weapons that annoy me the most.

 

Problem with getting urban is with your hornet, you'll still get knocked around it will just take them longer to kill you.

 

I'd recommend Irbis or Savannah, I'm eyeing Irbis for myself but I think I may just go ahead and get inferno instead if I can rank by sale day (which I think I can do).

 

P.S. I think I'm about to get isida m3 during sale :)

I have to say this topic is horrible.  What is the point of having an entire section dedicated to gameplay, where you can discuss turrets and hull and in fact there are even stickies for each turret and hull, when everybody has to use this one thread to talk about the different things they should buy.... makes ZERO sense to me.  Isn't this entire section of the forum for people to talk about turrets and hulls?  Why can't we make a X vs X type of topic if that is our specific need?  I don't want to dig through a 30 page thread to find the area that somebody already discussed the same exact topic I have...  I'm sorry but this a bad idea and makes zero sense.

 

You also get much less answer asking in this thread because once your question moves to next page nobody reads it anymore and is already answering the next persons questions, plus you can't make polls about what weapons are better, etc.  Takes away the entire point of having a section dedicated to this type of discussion.

One of these hulls has to go to fit Mammoth in.

 

Hornet or Viking; I've asked this question before but there's different circumstances this time.

 

Hornet's cheaper and swifter and that's what I need for the turrets I use.

Despite Viking being slower, the extra HP helps out a lot and it's not THAT much slower. I love having so much stability too.

 

For whatever hull I pick, I'll be using these turrets:

 

Firebird

Freeze

Railgun

 

And then there's Twins+Mammoth

 

So, Hornet or Viking?

Id suggest viking. Because its good with rail. And its ok with fire and freeze too since its not very slow & the hp is great. Of course you may like more speed of hornet, but the lack of stability will make you regret it too (i hate when i get flipped with it) As i said id pick viking but up to you :D Edited September 5, 2013 by doughnut2100

Sale is comin up! If we manage to get a 50% discount on everything, should i get viking m1 to use with my firebird m1 & then save up for rail m1? Or just save for rail first? I mean. Theres no rush, but i would like to have both by WO5. I do need a hull upgraded besides mamy so yeah. But what do you think? I have 9,600 ( should hve enough for viking by sale)

Hornet M2 would be great with Rail and Fire. As for turret, I'd save, as you don't have many crystals.

helloo ppl i have 43k crystals i use isida and hornet and i plan on upgrading the isida to m1 wen i am of rank i also plan on getting hornet m1, but what paint would be good for me. ik good paints arent available at my rank but wen i reach ranks like W03 and higher wat paints should i go for? Which combo is better, wasp m2 and firebird m2, or hornet m2 and smoky m2? They can both fit my play style.
