Depends on which turrets your most annoyed in and what modes you play.

Good paints would be tundra, python, electra, etc. :)

Tundra is good protection in the bigger maps when you r up against a lot of other killer Rails. Also it's good camouflage and  ok price in 50% paint sale.

My big personal problem sounds like this ...

 

Well, i have :

Hulls : Mamm M1 , Titan M1 , Vik M1 , Hornet M1 , Hunter M1

Turrets : Isida M2 , Twins M1 , Fire M1 , Freeze M1 , Rail M1

 

So as you can see i have 5 hulls and 5 turrets ..

 

When i start to play tanki , i love the isida and hornet , but now i want some diferent .. I don't want the low range turrets and i don't know what i like more .. My style is defending so the hornet is excluded .. Isida is boring me , Fire at M1 is weak at my rank , freeze M1 don't count, all players at my rank have M2 freeze before the sale..

 

So, if anybody can propose my what to do on the future i whould be grateful. I have 50k cry.. Remember , my style is defending so i'm waiting some proposals , what to do and what turret and hull to choice for my style..

Well M2 freeze is not thaat much more useful over M1, especially for a defending role. The freeze 'effect' is the same, and the range doesnt help thaaaat much, since you're defending a flag, they're gonna have to go right past you anyways, and the damage increase is fairly small. (Entirely unnoticable when vsing an enemy drugger - your main role is to freeze him and let your team kill him when hes frozen.

 

Also, in one more rank, you unlock firebird M2! Which is spoken very highly of from most players who own it themselves. However you probably wouldnt be the best defender using it, freeze would be far more useful for a defender's role... but you said you're bored of Isida, so M2 firebird may be a wonderful change of gameplay for you, as an offensive player and you could make use of that hornet/hunter you own too! If you truly dont want 'low range' turrets then, and still want to defend... I'd suggest Smoky for its critical hit. Time and time again, its critical hits save you during emergency situations (like when the enemy has just taken your flag) and the crits pretty much wreak havoc on druggers. M2 Smoky is a little while away for you, but certainly something to take into consideration. Railgun M2 could be a useful defending weapon if you use it to snipe from your base while defending, and when necessary, if you use a double power (when druggers come to take your flag) 1-2 shots will severely cripple them, and you can keep a pretty good score. If you are not using double power when an enemy drugger comes to take your flag though, your railgun will be sorta useless, 100 dmg on a drugger using double armor + nitro... you're likely only going to get 1 shot, that will take only half, or 1/3rd of their total hp... not even considering if they have railgun protection (which many do)

I agree. Horrible for defending. Dumb Firebirds come and un-freeze the drugging Mammoth. :mellow:  :angry:  When you see a frozen drugger with your flag, don't shoot him with Fire! Instead just drive in front of him and kill others like isidas. :mellow:

Thanks for sugestion but , i don't know what combo to use .. I see the fire at M2 is splendid .. I was thinking on thunder or twins or shaft to get a good score on defending .. Which is better and what hull ?

Get rail m1, it is fun and you will have a long range gun as well.

As Irontank1v said above, Hornet.

 

Hornet is ok for Rail, dive out from cover - fire - quickly back into cover to reload. + it has reasonable armour (HP). 

 

Because a Dictator's gun is mounted high,  some combos can get underneath the long barreled Rail IMHO. :o

Well, it does depend upon what turrets you find the most dangerous, but I can tell you from experience - as this is my oldest combo - that enemy Rails and Thunders are the most dangerous to us. I bought Tundra and it serves very well, but Corrosion, Cedar or Digital are all helpful paints as well.

Right now, you could get Rail M2, as a skilled player can easily defend with it by knocking out people before they even get to home base, but I'd especially suggest Titan M2, which, once available to you, will give you speed to move around your base, but also armour to protect from enemy snipers and Thunders.
