If I were you, I would save up and purchase Smoky m2. With the recent Thunder sale, there will be even more people using thunder resistant paint protections. On top of this, M2 thunder is pretty much 'the end' for thunder.... since M3 is barely an upgrade. Smoky M3 however is still a nice upgrade, and with MU's coming soon, you will be able to increase its critical hit chance, and reload speed. This will make it a better turret for 'all-around' use, and you are not forced into using thunder protection (so you wont damage yourself) but you are free to use whatever paint you would like.

Im a little confused by your post. Why "Micro-upgrade away!"? When the M3 is such a small change, that wouldnt make sense to get 75% of M3. (M2.75) That would be a huge investment of MU costs, for hardly anything in return. If however, M3.75 is a good increase, then it would be worth upgrading to m3 and then Micro-upgrading from that point. And according to what was previously said about MU's, once you maximize 1 characteristic of an upgrade, it will discount a % off of the next modification, so technically you dont say goodbye to ALL of the crystals once you upgrade to the next M.

 

The most valuable MU's are the ones which have a large distance to the next M. That way the 75% increase improves your item dramatically.

Id say hornet as it has all the speed you will need and better HP. Dont forget the greater stability which is very important.

Hornet/isida m2 kit? I want hornet m2, i do not want isida m2 but i would use it of course. Im not sure of i would save money thats what i want to know. I want the hornet and the paints too. After that id probably save for rail m2.

Uh, definitely don't get the kit. Hornet M2 at a 50% sale is only about 35k and in this kit you'd get Izzy M2 (unwanted), a bunch of supplies and In love (garbage), Loam (unfocused protection unless you hate Fires), as well as the one great paint, Savanna. It'd be much smarter to only get the couple things you want, Rail and Hornet.
