What to buy? Which is better?

I have the M2 Medium Kit. The M2 Medium kit is awesome. Prodigi and Emerald are amazing and they sill serve you well. If you're not going to get M2 Ricochet, just get M2 Mammoth later on. It's cheap, only 76K. Go with path 1. With path 2, you're missing out on good paints. path 3 will leave you with more crystals, but if you get the kit, you will get to have better combos.

Yea thanks for your opinion and i think ill go for path 1.

Which is best, M2 Shaft, Twins, or Smoky? Consider the new physics too.

Not sure about shaft, but i know that m2 smoky is OP now and isnt getting nerfed so its probably best but i hear shaft is getting better. Also it depends. Sniping: obvious still shaft, but for attacking or mid range: Smoky as twins is going to suck.

Ok thanks for your response. Also, I was considering changing my plans. I play a huge amount of Poly DM, and with the huge amount of Rustles and Emeralds, Thunder isn't serving me the best. I was wondering if I should get M2 Twins or M2 Smoky (I'm only getting one)

@In10shnableFoul, you may have a point about our discussion last night about Titan vs Mammoth... We both play short to medium range maps. But, the gametype matters also, right? If playing CTF, you need a faster hull, so Titan would be the ideal choice. However, you would use a MUCH faster hull like Hornet to get the flag. With DM, TDM, and CP, you need hulls with more HP, so Mammoth is the ideal choice. So it really depends upon your favourite gamemode.

You know, I may have to get both... or just Mammoth. I'm getting tired of Titan after over 5 months of constant use. And, this discussion is making me wonder if I ought to trash Titan once I'm able to purchace Mammoth.

And, don't get Viking. It's leaned towards the heavy side, so you might as well forget Mammoth... somewhat. What I reccommend is getting hulls with extremes. What I mean is get 3 PURE hulls (hulls that don't fall into more than one weight category): One light, medium, and heavy. What I'll get is Hornet, Hunter, and Mammoth. Hornet for CTF, with short and medium range guns, Hunter for basically any gamemode with short or medium, or heck, even long range guns, and Mammoth for any gamemode except CTF(unless you are defending the flag), with medium or long range guns. This combo will cover basically ANY SITUATION!

So  to sum it up: Hornet for offense, Hunter for literally any role, and Mammoth for defense, and "laid-back" offense (shooting from mid-map).

THOUGHTS?

All that is true but if you drug then mammoth trumps hornet even in CTF modes(mostly) and also not sure about hunter for a medium. Dictator perhaps?

That is not true completely. Depending on the map you play as well. You say you play from short to medium-ranged maps (ping-pong to silence basically) so I will only talk about that map size. In Combe, for instance, a mammoth is great for attacking. Its health makes it an unstoppable force. And, for CP, fast hulls are needed. I assure you, for CP in Iran, a team of wasps with any gun vs. a team of mammoths will win a lot of the time (assuming they are m0 or m1). I do agree that hunter is very balanced, though. Also, hornet with a long-ranged gun is not weak. In noise, for example, I just played in a battle with some of my friends. Galaxy Pegasus (and I hope you don't mind me mentioning you, Galaxy) had a score of over 1000. He used rail + hornet. I know that we were winning. Galaxy's speed deriving from hornet allowed him to easily get the flag and go around others; while his railgun blasted away any opponent.

What I am trying to say, is that any gun/hull can win in any map. Sure, there is the stereotypical idea that just because a ill is big it needs to defend, or just because a hull is light it needs to be in a CTF. That isn't true. It also depends on the player. I assure you, I have played against buyers before, and kicked their butt. I know some people where they can literally play basically any combo and still win.

^True, there are circumstances where faster hulls are more effective than slower ones and vise versa. And, I also agree that long range turrets are sometimes effective in smaller maps, but I was interpreting that since he likes.to play on small maps, he likes to use close to mid range turrets.

It depends on your style of playing, but I'd suggest Smoky M2. It's already a very powerful weapon, what with a sonic firing rate and decent critical chance, yet it's getting boosted even. New physics will increase the impact force, so many opponents will find it nearly impossible to aim, as they would have to constantly correct for each shot that knocked them askew.

Ok so i have some different paths i can choose.

Path 1: Medium m2 kit, later get m2 mammoth and m2 smoky( as i prefer smoky over thunder)

Path 2: Heavy m2 kit, later get m2 smoky and then other paints

Path 3: WAIT and then get m2 mammoth and m2 smoky and selective paints

Path 3 if you are full of patience, otherwise go for m2 heavy kit as rico gonna rock :D

Which is best, M2 Shaft, Twins, or Smoky? Consider the new physics too.

Smoky m2. As after new physics all turrets will have high impacts, just imagine smoky's impact :)

Fire m2 i would prefer with a light hull like wasp.If you want to go for isida m2,then use a medium hull.Fire m2 would be good for you i think and helps you a lot.

actually a medium hull with isida is a really bad idea.. when i used isida everyone was running away from me even people with firebird and freeze. hornet would be the hull needed for isida.

Well medium hull is good for short ranges and hornet is good too.For long ranges wasp and hornet because of moving fast without getting shot.Medium hull in small ranges would be somewhat good,if you learn it or hornet with isida and good protection from the turret which you get killed would be good too.
