What to buy? Which is better?

or should i just get isida and freeze m2 and collect for the pack with m2 viking mamoth hornet and hunter...

In @hisham2014 (They haven't updated my rank but It's first Lieutenant)  ,,  i have 82k, 

I narrowed down my options to two, and it's kind of hard to choose :P

1-Upgrade M0 dictator to M1 and to M2 (In sale).

2- Not buying anything at sale, just saving more crystals and getting M2 thunder when I rank (A couple of weeks, maybe). 

*Other info. 

 

Turrets: Freeze M2 (Main), M1 thunder, m1 fire, m1 smoky.
Hulls: Titan M1 (For now), mammoth M1, hornet M1 and wasp M1.

Not entirely sure yet... we'll see. I think I'm still learning what kind of player I am at this point, it seems my views and wants for end-game equipment is constantly evolving.

 Just get it all then!

Shaft ... Clearly NO .. My style is defend but i don't like to camp , i like to be active , moving .. Well rico was my option because i like it and i know to control his recoil , but at high rank's it is usseles .. Thunder i know is good but i'm not a pro .. Smoky , i think is good just to stole kills but "face to face" with a thunder his got no chance without his "probable" critical ..

So of these 3 what  should i use ?

Rico is useless at high ranks? M2/M3 Rico is where it becomes OP. Go with Rico, since you said that you are good with it. Thunder is a powerful gun, but with the huge amount of protection paints, it becomes bad. You're 2 ranks away from M2 Smoky, so I suggest you go with Rico.

Can you get Smoky to M2? Well. . . looking at your rank, no. So don't go with Smoky. At M1, it will just hinder your team, and won't suit you that well in DM's when you have to destroy M2 Hulls. . .

 

So rule Smoky out.

 

Thunder or Ricochet?

 

You say you are not pro at it, well do you like using it? If you are fond of it, learn how to use it, and become professional at it.

 

Ricochet. . . . well you are planning to get Viking to m2, right? If so, that is a pretty nice choice as well. . . . .And you like using it.

 

I'm leaning more on Ricochet, but if you like Thunder and can practice with it to become Pro, then Thunder. . . .

 

My reasoning is, it has a bigger range than Ricochet, and Splash damage, not to mention you can go on the offensive quickly if you get bored of defending.

 

In fact, can you tell me which maps you like to play on? If you can, go on Test server and try out the new maps. Try out the new Silence, etc.

If you defend, you may want to try out Freeze! If now, railgun is fine and viking would be a good choice for a defending - style player.

Yes, you would stand out! Maybe you don't want to though, makes a more easy target! Just kidding man, but still Dictator is not what it used to be, and I think you should stick with what you have.

Black i don't agree the close-range turrets like freeze , fire , isida ..

For long range maps like Serpuhov i have the rail .. But for mid-close range, like iran , silence , combe , sandbox, farm etc .. Here is where i want the second weapon .. FC , yes Rico is op at m2 but belive me when you are in front with brigadiers or highest , rico isn't "the best" .. Didyouknowthat , yes i will go with viking but i don't know if i will "love" thunder .. Here is where i have problems ..

Chose what i like , or what is better ?

@Profiteer: Choose what you like! Because you will always be better using what you like. You will feel comfortable using it. You will have an easier time coming up with better strategies too.

 

@Hisham: I can't really try to help you. . . . . . . . .I assume that is not your main account, and furthermore, I don't know your Hulls/turrets. Lol.

Well I think you should choose what you like, as in the end it will work better for you. It's hard to play with something you don't like.

Yeah, I'll give you a little more. Part of Tanki's ploy is to get you to buy something at every sale, and I think it is a good one. The thing I urge players to think about however, is what you're buying necessary, or are you getting it just so you can have something new and feel like part of all the excitement? I personally have bought random gimmicks for pleasure, beacuse there was a sale at the time. I'ts easier to do at the higher ranks because you have more crystals, and more options. I don't want players just to buy buy buy whenever there is a sale, because after the sale when you actually get around to using it, you will find yourself ranked up and wishing you had just saved at the sale. The reaosn I think you will find this with dictator, is because you already have so many hulls, covering light medium and heavy, so there is no need to get another! Also, why waste your first m2 hull purchase on a dictator when it could be something exciting! Not saying dictator is bad, it's actually alright, just when you have so many other good hulls it's not worth it to buy another. Your thought of trying to rank up quickly isn't a bad one, but I don't think it will happen unless you play consitently all day until the sale. It may happen, but even then, you would have wasted crystals. There will be more sales.

If you're really skilled with Rico, then go with it. I hate it when I meet up with a skilled Rico user in DM who knows how to use it. Thunder is not that bad. If you use it in maps like Serpuhov where everyone has Tundra/Digital, then you have an advantage. Also, Thunder can be used in a variety of maps and game modes. The biggest problem, which is why I don't use it a lot, is because of the huge amount of protection paints. I see so much Cedars and Emeralds (product kit buyers) and it just makes Thunder so useless.

Hah, I remember once I used Ricochet M1/ Wasp M1/ Forester and played with Generalissimos in a DM Polygon. . . .. yes, M3 Mammoths everywhere- since this was before the Physics update that made Mammoth so weak and useless. :ph34r:

 

Was actually very decent if you used it correctly. . . . Ricochet. . .for the innovative people. With it, there are so many ways to hit your opponents. . just need to notice . . or create them :D

 

I think my score was like 16 kills, 42 Deaths. LOL. And the match was like 20~25 minutes. . . 

 

(edit) Or maybe it was 50 deaths. .. not sure. . but it was a lot. . . .. somewhere around 45. ..   . . . . definitely not exceeding 60. . .cause that would be noob. . .

I don't understand why people need Isida protection. Unless you really hate Isida, don't get it. Just MU Rail if you want

Wait until WO4 where you can get a better paint, like Tundra (at a sale, of course)

@panamatriple: Wait for better paints. Maybe at Major rank, or like what FC said, Tundra at WO4 (Warrant Officer 4).

 

@Doduo: If Isidas bother you, then sure. Although maybe another paint like Digital or Rustle could do in the future. . . ?

 

@FC:  I'll be honest here. I bought Electra because I could, and it looked pretty sweet. Lol! :lol:

 

But you'll never guess how many times it saved me. :P Well, since I used Mammoth of course. . . . it really helped. Even the Smoky/Twins protection chipped in enough to be noticeable. ;)

 

Electra is a pretty good paint, especially if you're using a DPS weapon, specifically Isidas. Not only will you hold an edge over rival Isidas, but if you use Freeze/Firebird, you'll be able to dish out more damage. I believe someone said that Isida paints also lessen the amount of Health Isidas gain? If that is true, then it especially helped me when I used Mammoth/Freeze. I just let them attack me, and after they ran out of charge, they were easy to kill. ^_^

 

But then again, Doduo is using Hornet. . . . . .Not sure how that will work out.

 Like others are saying, wait to rank up before you decide to buy a paint.

Don't buy Electra if you are a rail, it won't help you that much. Get a paint that protects against the guns you will more likely be facing - thunder or rail. That means get a paint like Corrosion, Sandstone, Rustle, digital, or just wait
