Nah, Shaft M2 is great, but if you use rail alot, you'll find yourself going back to rail. It is really good though. Twins M2 is much more OP than Shaft, IMO

Ok... I see alot of players saying that if you already are using Railgun alot (which I am) you shouldn't get Shaft upgraded. Is this true? I could probably earn the bit I need for Shaft M2 if I tried. I am also going for Twins M2,but..... I am not sure if I should get both... Shaft + Hornet = ???

I have Rail, Shaft and Twins. You can still get Shaft, if you like to one shot Hunters and Hornets. Also, a note on Twins - only get it if you like Poly or Silence. In other maps, Twins isn't the greatest

Is thunder totaly better than rail in terms of damage per minute? I must choose btween rail and thunder is terms of damage so which is bettet m2?

 

Simplified question: does thunder have huge advantage in a duel over rail in terms of damage? Rail pewwns anything with power drug so... pros cons ppl (one con for thunder is that i would have to use all 75k of my crys to get m2 on 50% sale cos i only have m0 whereas i have m1 rail...

Like FC said, thunder only damages well in midfield combat. At far distances though, not so much. Rail, damages well no matter the distance.

So, if you are a midfield guy, thunder is better. If you enjoy long range as well, rails better.

Just stick with Rail. The amount of Thunder protection I see is ridiculous. And besides, you said that you already have M1 Rail, so you don't have to buy M1.

M1 Rail is definitely better (It is the strongest modification of Rail). It can take down all other hulls of the same modification within 2 shots. M1 Shaft is ok-ish, but the rotation is really slow. At M2 it gets a lot better.

Yeah i agree plus the fact ill still b able to get viking m2 on sale at right rank so i can focus more on my noob acc whearas ill blow my crys if i get thunder, im guessing best paint is thunder protection? I c heaps of thunders. U think i should get rustle and MU freeze part?

What I mean is that if you compare M0 Rail to M0 hulls, M1 Rail to M1 hulls, etc... M1 Rail is the best. M3 Rail can't kill a M3 Mammoth in 2 shots.

What??? There's literally at least 1 sale each month!!

And btw to comfort you, I'm taking a risk too, I want Shaft M2, but I'm hoping that in 5 days, there will be an announcement for the valentines day sale :D
