The next few months will be filled with sales. May day, tanki birthday, valentines...

When is Tanki birthday? Also, I remember there was also a sale where for one week, every day a different weapon would go on sale

And btw to comfort you, I'm taking a risk too, I want Shaft M2, but I'm hoping that in 5 days, there will be an announcement for the valentines day sale :D

Yeah, that's tanki's birthday! If I remember correctly, it was like May 4th or something, or maybe March 4th, or Maybe June 4th, you get the idea, it was some months 4th.

I have around 69.5k crystals, Rail M2 Hornet M2 Fire M1 Freeze m1 Thunder M1 Smoky M1 Shaft M1 Rico M1 Viking M1 Titan M1 Wasp M1 Mammy M1 and the rest is M0 crap

I have Shaft M2 and here's the thing - Shaft M2 is a great weapon. You can one shot M2 Hunters, M2 Dictators, and M3 Hornets. The turret rotation is a huge jump from M1. In fact, back in December (when Tanki gave us a bunch of crystals for our current rank), I wanted it so bad that I bought it full price - 103K. I don't really regret doing it, but the biggest problem I have with Shaft is it's usability, e.g. you can equip Rail/Hornet and scroll through the battle list. Chances are, you'll find a lot of maps were Hornet/Raii is good. But if you equip a combo like Shaft/Viking, it's hard to find ideal conditions where Shaft will be useful (until the ability to change weapons during a battle is released). So, I would say that Shaft is a good secondary weapon, e.g. if you're bored of your primary combo, Shaft is a good alternative. 

 

I'm going to assume that you want Fire M2, so I would recommend you wait for Valentine's Day. I'm pretty sure it's going to be Firebird again. Also, what other turrets/hulls are you planning on getting?

Should I get the SMP on the sale?

Only get it if you have a lot of crystals for you rank, because if you don't, you will be getting more XP than your current crystals income. I've been using SMP for the past 3 months (I bought them all at full price) and it helps a ton, since I play DM a lot.

Oh, so Shaft is on your wish list. In that case, I would just get Shaft, since it isn't very popular and it doesn't go on sale a lot. But I'm still sure that Valentine's will still be Fire -50% off, so depending on which one you like more (Fire or Shaft), get it.

But I am probably not getting it, unless Raph gives us the 5k before the sale ends. Because I need the extra 4k to get Cedar :D

Thanks, I think I will. 3k is quite cheap for the SMP. I currently have 56k crystals, so it's nothing. I should be ranking pretty fast, so ill be ready for those festive sales. :D

Newspaper quest, I should be getting 20k, but someone trolled me by registering their alt for the 20k prize. So I had to settle in 6th place with a reward of 5k. Raph refuses to give me my 20k!

I mean who puts a Seargent as their main account for 20k??

Yes FC, rail and hornet m2. Whenever this "tankis birthday" thing is, ill get it around there. I should be at least a 1st LT by march, so hornet and rail I would be ready for. Then theres hunter m2, I should rank to captain by maybe april or may. Then my other m2s, I should be a major by around june.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that Thunder M2 and Cedar are also on my list :D

I like Fire more, so I'm getting it on Valentines. Now it sorta makes sense to me because Shaft, Rail and Fire, will  be getting discounts, while Shaft and Fire aren't very common weapons. 

EDIT: Should I get the SMP, or Cedar? Cuz if I get the SMP I won't be able to get Cedar, unless I catch 4 golds in a week.

Rail M2 is really good, so is Shaft M2, but I'd recommend saving up for Hornet M3.
